aveenod

I suspected as much- and was happy to see the Aveeno sale cover a large number of price points in face & body care products. It was definitely not product wide- but many items are included- one of which was the Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion 2.5 oz that was on sale for $2.69. This also qualifies for the $10 Beauty for All Ages Rebate (PRINT or 1-10-10 SS). I came prepared with my coupons today just in case & I did a rebate for my sister since she loves this stuff.  Here’s what I did:

$21.52 (8 Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion 2.5 oz  $2.69)
 +$9.12 (3 Clean & Clear 8 oz Sensitive Cleanser $3.04)
= $30.64
- $16.00 (used 8 $2/1 Aveeno Qs from 1-10-10 SS)
-$6.00 (used 3 $2/1 Clean & Clear Product)
=$8.64 – $10 MIR  = $1.36 Money Maker after Qs & Rebate.

Even if you don’t have enough Qs to do a rebate- you can still pick up this moisturizer for .69 cents this week after using the -$2/1 any Aveeno that you can PRINT or from the 1-10-10 SS.

Just as a warning – apparently Johnson and Johnson has decided that they’ll only honor rebates when the total at the cash register (after coupons) is over $30. Doesn’t make sense to me, but apparently that’s what’s going on. So if you do this scenario, you’d want to add more items so that the overall total is over $30.

    Hi Cassia-
this alarmed me- but I just got off the phone w/J&J and all seems fine. I did a post here: http://www.totallytarget.com/?p=3999

I was actually wondering about the total price, so I made sure to spend $31 total. The prices of the Aveeno and Clean and Clear products were higher at the Super Target I went to (Sunrise, FL), but I still got a fantastic deal. I also found a few great items for my gift closet.

Kerry – thank you for checking that out. I’m sorry to have raised the alarm unnecessarily. :) All I knew was that another site had done a post about how many of the site users had called and been told that the receipts would not be honored if the cash register total was under $30… I am soooo glad to know that isn’t correct! :)

    Cassia-
please don’t apologize- that was the first I heard about it- I can’t always keep up with all the buzz out there- and I am so glad you brought it to my attention so I could address it- so thank you. :)
