I have a question about scenario 3. It says get back two $5. Where are the two coming from?

I looked for the Olay Body Wash deal in Hoover on 150 and also at the 280 store. Thanks for the tip about Fultondale.

I don’t know where exactly in Birmingham you are but the Fultondale Target does have the gift card deal for the Olay Body Wash. At least they did a couple of weeks ago when I went. I am going back soon to use my last q’s so I hope they still have it!

I don’t think the body wash deal ($5 gift card when you purchase 3) is regional; instead, it seems to appear at random stores.

I live in Birmingham and tried to find it at two Targets here, with no luck. I price scanned each and ever Olay body wash on the shelf and none came up with a gift card offer, nor the $5.50 price. While driving to Texas, I stopped at a Target in Monroe, LA, for a bathroom stop and was delighted to find the sign and display at that Target. I bought the 3 body washes specified on the display, but no gift card appeared at the register. The manager I talked to didn’t know why it didn’t generate the gift card, but did an override to give me one.

In Fort Worth, TX, I found the same sign at the store on Hwy. 187. I had no problem getting the gift card there. But I wanted to buy more, so I went to the next closest Target, just off 1-20 near Bryant Irvin. They didn’t have the sign or display. Again I price-scanned all varieties of the bonus-pack Olay. Not one indicated it was a gift-card eligible product. So, I talked to a manager. He told me that deals that don’t appear in the weekly ad are store specific–not necessarily regional. Someone decides if the store will offer the deal based on how much stock is on hand and how rapidly the product is moving. It’s basically a strategy to move slow-moving items a little faster.

On that Texas trip (two weeks ago), I also checked at four other Targets in the Fort Worth-Arlington area, and didn’t find the body-wash deal at any of them except the one in west Fort Worth on 187.

Has anyone else observed these kind of random deals? The manager also told me that the same principle applied to clearance items. He said customers come in looking for an item on clearance at another nearby Target, but they’re full-price at his store.

Hey missy- you can roll a gift card into the next transaction but you cannot use a gift card earned in a transaction to pay for that transaction. hth

Hi Kelly: You posted right before I did:) Yes you can because it is a TARGET coupon and you can stack target coupons with Manufacturer coupons! It will make for a pretty sweet deal!

Here is even a better deal when you buy the Fusion Cartridge and Fusion Razor:) (if you have the peelies that were on the venus and fusion single razor packs, SO LOOK FOR THESE!) My store still had them on them tonight! I am wondering if these single packs will work for the GC, I am going to check first thing in the morning on Sunday to see when I price check it if it rings up with GC Deal next to it. If it does, look out, that will be an amazing deal as these are $4.99 and then you can use the $4.00 mc! This could be a money maker if the single ones are part of the deal!Can anyone find this out ahead of time???
