Welcome to the Thursday Bragging Spot! It’s my weekly gathering place for readers to comment about their great finds or deals, be it clearance or otherwise. Sharing what you find with other readers (and me ) gives us a heads up. In my case I am always appreciative as my binder is not as well stocked as it should be and many of my coupons remain unclipped. But when I see something in the comments that catches my eye- you better believe I go clip a couple to bring with me just in case I score the same find!

This week’s picture comes to you from Jen in Central FL, AKA Another Online Mom who saved 72% yesterday and spent $5.75 + tax for her trip. And while the savings are great- what really got me smiling was her enthusiasm as she titled her post “Woot! Woot! Target Savings (72-percent!)“. I love that kind of beaming-proud enthusiasm that comes from those of us passionate about saving our dollars for other things. Thanks so much Jen!  

So here’s a couple more tidbits from my inbox before I hook up the linky…

Jenny B. definitely has something to brag about- as she reports getting 2 awesome catalinas that you all may want to keep your fingers crossed for at check out- one was a $5 off any $20 frozen food purchase (would be great to pair with the upcoming Smart Ones Gift Card Deal) and the second one was for a FREE Market Pantry pizza, any kind, with no size specification! So bring your rabbits foot or wear your lucky socks and say a prayer that you get these great ones too! I would also be scouring the carts in the parking lot, the ground, etc…

Jennifer S (SE PA) found several Gift Packs clearanced. She found a Dove gift pack with 12 oz Go Fresh Body Wash, 8.5 oz Body Lotion, 4.25 oz bar soap, 3 oz. Body Mist, body puff and re-usable gift bag clearanced for $4.48 and used a $1/1 Dove Body Wash, Body Mist or Deoderant ETS Target Q PRINT x7/31 and a $1.50/1 Any Dove Deoderant or Body Mist ETS PRINT to get it for $1.98! -Thanks Jennifer!

BTW- I have gotten a few emails asking me about using more than one MQ (or trying to use and getting denied) on the gift packs. Target is right to only accept one manuf. coupon for these gift packs. It is only one bar code being scanned- even though there are multiple items in these gift packs – the computer, store, manufacturer etc considers this to be one item. The same answer goes for bonus packs. Technically it is one item. But in Jennifer’s case- a great deal can be had when you can at least stack a Target coupon with the manuf. coupon. And if you can find the clearance low enough- it may still be a great deal with just a lonely old MQ too.  But Note- even using a coupon on a Gift Pack may be a ymmv too and is sort of a gray area- since gift packs often include different products. If they are full size products, your store may be agreeable to using a coupon, and they may not.

They are being advertised at $1.88, so I would reccomend doing a little math and it may just work out cheaper to buy on clearance if you spot them low enough.) So yesterday when I was gathering up all the working links to Smart Ones (see my post HERE), I realized I hadn’t printed the $5/10 Smart Ones coupons on my hubby’s computer- so I ran over to his office quick as a flash, practically threw him out of the way and printed two of them. I was so thrilled to get them and then reality hits me- uhhhh I have a freezer just jammed full of Kashi and what the heck I am doing??
