UNFAMILIAR WITH RESTAURANT.COM?
If you have never ordered certificates before- it is a great way to save money dining out. Go HERE to find participating restaurants by first entering the zip code, state, or city. You can further refine your search by a number of search criteria such as cuisine, price, restaurant name, etc… Once you locate a restaurant you can see the specific offer available for that restaurant.
These requirements will vary depending on the restaurant so be sure to pay attention to what they are. They are clearly described under the “add to cart” button in each offer. For example, the certificates do not usually apply to alcohol, take-out, or other specials at that restaurant such as happy hour. Additionally, there may be an expiration date and a minimum purchase requirement. For example you may need to spend at least $35 to use that $25 certificate. But it is still a huge savings on on dining!
After you pay for your certificate via credit card or paypal, you will receive it in your email to print out. Happy Dining – you are eating more for less!!

Okay- so I wasn’t even going to tell any of you about this yesterday, but I am trying to laugh about it now and get over it already. Mostly because, ultimately I guess I am to blame. So here’s my tale. On Thursdays many of you know I disappear for a few hours because I am off on a recycling chore. I help clear a reycycling dumpster that is a small source of income for a non-profit, of plastic, and cardboard and other debris that shouldn’t be in there and as a benefit I am welcome to whatever inserts I am able to find. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t but I enjoy helping out regardless.
Well let me tell you I sweat my rear-end off (well actually that’s a lie- unfortunately it’s still there), but I do sweat like crazy. The heat in Florida is unbelievable & combined with the heat of a 120 degree dumpster- by the time I get out of there I am yukky, hot, sweaty, flushed and exhausted. I talked to my friend Christie briefly as I was arriving there and told her I needed to get busy and hung up. I did my thing- got all hot and bothered and left.
On my way home I was followed by a Police Officer for about 7 or so miles, he kept slowing down, coming up next to me, going back behind me, etc. I knew something was up but didn’t know what? Now I am even more hot and bothered and I am just saying to myself- “geez get it over with and just pull me over already!”. Well finally I hear the “woooowoooowoooo” of the siren and he flashes his lights. So I pull over.
He announces to me that my tag is expired and has been expired for over a year. I say nooooo I don’t think so- I renew it online every year, they send me the sticker I put it on, voila!. He says “nooooooo… it is expired for over a year and not only that, the sticker you have on your car does not belong to you- is this your vehicle m’am?”.
So while I am momentarily distracted thinking “geez when did I get that old that I became a M’am instead of a Miss?” he asks me to step over and stand behind my vehicle. He then proceeded to tell me that having your registration expired for over a year is an arrestible offense and where did I get the sticker that is on my vehicle?”
So while “arrestable offense” is echoing in my head- I looked at him wondering if maybe a bribe of 20 free Schick Razors would work and quickly decided against it. It then occured to me that maybe, since I am the one who registers our cars and puts the stickers on the vehicles and since both my husband & I drive Nissans I may have mixed the stickers up. So I tell him- “look, I don’t know how my registration is expired because I know I paid it, but if that sticker isn’t mine- I can tell you whose it is” and I give him the make and model and tell him he’ll find it registered to the same address. He basically tells me that that is all well and good if that is true, but it still doesn’t solve the issue that my proper tag has been expired for over a year and reminds me again that it is AN ARRESTABLE OFFENSE”. He says ‘wait here”. I say “OK”. He walks away to his car and I crumble into tears.
Standing there 100+ degree heat tears running down my face, thinking someone’s gonna have to come bail me out, my husband’s in meetings all day hours away so I call Christie back. All I can get out is “I think I am getting arrested..” before John Law walks back up and says “M’am?” (ugghhh the dreaded “M’am” again), I tell Christie- “gotta go!” and he hands me a citation and tells me because of my record I am free to go and WON’T be arrested, but I better get it corrected. So I go home and don’t end up in jail.
Turns out that for a whole year my husband & drove around with each other’s tags on our cars (my fault), and I DID pay for my registration, but a mistake on behalf of the state and fortunately I can prove it too. But I guess I am to blame there too for not realizing it never came in the mail. More red tape and unneccessary hassles, but with proof of payment the citation goes away. So in a very long nutshell- that’s how I almost got arrested yesterday. And… by the time I called poor Christie back who had NO clue WHAT was going on- was convinced I was getting arrested for being in a recycling dumpster! I can always count on her to make me laugh.
We can expect one 2 inserts this Sunday – a Smart Source & a RedPlum- and you can take a look at the preview HERE. There are lots of new Dove coupons coming in the RedPlum that will pair nicely with some of the Target coupons. There is also quite a few Finish coupons in the Smart Source, and I have heard that some areas may be getting higher denominations than what is listed in the preview. But we shall see. 
Remember when viewing the insert preview that inserts vary from region to region, some areas may not get certain coupons or your denominations may vary, but you can check out what you may see in your paper on Sunday HERE.
*If you do not get the Qs you hoped for in your inserts- or typically don’t buy a lot of papers- you can always use a clipping service. If you don’t have a clipping service yet- I reccomend My Coupon Hunter or TheCouponClippers or you can search for coupons on eBay to see if any of these sources have what you need. You can also try trading coupons here on the site on the Trades Page.
