BABY NEEDS
Alison found lots of clearance in the baby section at her store. she noticed clearance on car seats including Graco Snugride 35, Grace Myride 65, Britax, and Cosco, just to name a few. I too noticed the car seat clearance on Sunday and hae been struggling with buying Austin a big boy booster car seat. I know he’s big enough to be in one safely, but something keeps holding me back. Anyway, Alison also saw a lot of clothes, bibs, etc. on clearance as well as the special edition Huggies Jeans diapers. -Thanks Alison D!
DOLLAR SPOT
Amy, in Joplin, MO noticed that about half of the the merchandise in the dollar spot was marked an extra 50% off- and Veronika in W. Palm, FL found Dollar Spot Merchandise marked 30% iff. And both found that Rayovac batteries were included. Quite a few of you report several of the same clearance items in the Health & Beauty sections. There were different price rangse- but some things to look for are Rimmel & CoverGirl Cosmetics, Olay Definity products, Facial Tissues (Kleenex & Up& Up), Select Sally Hansen items, and lots of hair accessories.

I am heading back out to Target this morning so scoop the latest.. my kids got money from grandma and it’s burning a hole in their pocket LOL…. so I hope to be back with more finds…. I had been on hold since my parents were here so hopefully I will have a successful hunt. LOL
On a side note… our Mobile gas stations give out 25 cents drinks when our Cardinals(baseball team) score higher than 6 on any game home or visitor… since they scored 9 last night against Colorado, I am getting me a CHEAP drink!( any fountain drinks including cold and hot coffee and frozen slushies too) Might want to learn if your gas stations do the same with your local or state team… why not… never hurt to ask.
At my Target in Tamarac, FL they had a ton of board games for about 30%. Taboo, Trivial Pursuit and some kids games as well. They also have peelies on them with $2.00 off a card game. In the card games they have $5.00 off select games(Monopoly, Monopoloy City, Sorry, Sorry Sliders, Scrabble, Pictreka(sp), and I think a few more) the coupon doesn’t expire until 2012(I believe). Go for when games go on sale!
Also, a ton of toys on clearance. Moon Sand, Pixos(sp), Play Doh, this toy that you mold things with sticks. I forgot the name. I will take pictures next time! They also had that Tonka toy I think ist called “Chuck” on clearance for $14 something.
I went to target tonight to use my $1/2 rayovac coupons since the batteries were .50cents in the dollar spot and when I bought them, it only took .50cents/2 instead of the full $1/2. I was a little mad because the coupon stated $1/2! I asked about it and she said they have a new system in place that automatically takes the price of the item off instead of the coupon amount. I asked why, she said it’s because too many people were getting stuff for free and she used my batteries as an example. I said it shouldn’t matter since the store gets reimbursed for the amount and would actually make money! She said she wasn’t going to change it since that’s the new policy. Anyhow- I still got the batteries but will call corporate in the morning. Just an FYI in case anyone else has run into this!
