**Lynn brought up a good point in the comments about how Target receipts will show the price paid when using a Target coupon in the above scenarios. I do know what she is speaking of, however the receipt will still show (my register receipts anyway, not sure if the new POS receipts are different) the original price the product was before coupons. So here’s an example of how a product will show up (using example from when I purchased a Schick Razor:)
So it lists the Schick Hydro Razor as $2.99, and then the manufacturer’s coupon, but there is still the line there that shows Coupon off $6.99. Which to me – $6.99 would be the price I circle on my receipt. I agree, that it is disconcerting to have it show up on the receipt that way, but I should think since the rebate total is to be calculated before coupons, the receipt still reflects that original price as $6.99 and just shows a coupon used. But I do want to talk to a supervisor at the rebate center just to hash it over with them. I will let you know what they have to say.
UPDATE: So I got one of 2 questions answered today. There are NO size exclusions on this rebate. So that means, if you need a filler just to put you over the top, a bar of soap or 2 would be perfect. I had zero luck at the rebate center, so instead I called Olay directly. The rep I had was wonderful, she put me on hold, called P&G Corporate to confirm, and the answer is that trial sizes are included and willcount toward the $30 purchase.
Stay tuned for part 2 of my update, in regards to the receipts & how they show Target Coupons, but that answer probably won’t come until Monday. While she agreed with me that you would just circle the actual retail price, even though it is not lined up, she wanted to do some further research to make absolutely sure.

If you live in South Florida, the only Target that still has the OLAY TOTAL EFFECTS BODY WASH at $4.79, is the Target in Miramar Fl. 33027 Corner of Miramar Parkway and SW 172nd Ave. All the other Targets are priced between $5.50 and $6.04
Yeah my florida targets about 8 of them raised their price of the small bottle to 5.79… talk about price gouging…:)
I think you may have a problem with the rebate if you make your calculations based on the shelf prices and then use Target coupons – since on the receipt, the price MINUS the Target coupon is shown as the price paid.
ie. If you planned on buying 10 $3.00 items for the rebate and then used 10 $1 Target coupons, you may not get the rebate because the receipt will show you only paid $20 for the items.
This isn’t a problem with manufacturers coupons – just Target coupons that attach and adjust a price paid.
newbie here with a question about the rebate and olay scenario. If i have 7 BOGO coupons in addition to the 7 $4/1 coupons – would i still get the rebate? also, can i use these together somehow? i know you can’t use 2 mnfctr Qs on 1 item, but it would technically be 14 items and 14 coupons, just not sure if this would work….

My Target has not had the Olay Total Effects Body Wash for $4.79 since the coupon came out and it does not look like they are going to restock until the coupon expires!

Hey Tay- you lost me- but I think you are referring to the Olay B1G1 cleanser- the body wash isn’t a cleanser, so you can’t use the 2 together

if you are just couple dollars short from $30, don’t forget to use $1 off coupon on olay soap bar “travel size” from jul P&G insert. who would’ve thought the free little soap bars could be the fillers for rebate.
I read somewhere that someone had the scenario to buy 31 of the Olay travel bars that are .97 cents. So lets say you buy 15 bars and the rest in body wash how do you enter all the items on the rebate form? There is only like 8 spots to use. How do I do this since I have a bunch of the travel bar coupons and would love the nice moneymaker.
Hi (Richmond VA). Last week our olay body washed showed newly lowered price $4.79. Just went this “week” and now it shows $5.79. Talk about raising prices.
I was told today by the rebate center no trial sizes. I know it does not state it on the form but it usually does, and I would not chance it. jmo Will ask again for clarification when I get called back.
If you did the Olay Total Effects body wash deal and your price is 5.79, you can buy 6, use 6 $4/1 qs, pay $10.74, and get $10 back. It will less than .13 per bottle!
I need a quick answer from someone because I just bought coupons on ebay & I need to buy the corresponding coupons if I can stack them. I want to stack the 4 dollar off olay coupons with the buy 1 olay b.w. get 1 ivory body wash free. Can I do that???
many stores will let you Sarah, but many people report that their stores will not allow this and consider the B1G1 as covering 2 items and not just 1. hth

I emailed P&G about using a B1G1 coupon with $1 off coupon and they said that they would not pay the store for both coupons because the B1G1 coupon says 1 coupon per purchase and when you buy both items that is the 1 purchase.
SO how many of the Olay B1G1 cleanser’s coupons would I have to use to hit the $30? Also, how are the B1G1 free towards the total? Do you get to use both items or just the 1 you had to pay for?

My target has the total effects priced at 5.79 so I got four of those and 2 of the pantene for 3.49 and still made around $1.35 with the MIR! I also found two pairs of tennis shoes for $7.65 total! I love Clearence!
@ Shelly T – I think the CVS stores in my area are doing the same thing – no stock since they offered $7 ECB w/ a $27 purchase. I ask every week and they keep telling me they have no idea when it will be back. grrrr!!!!! The last time I asked, I was told the rain check doesn’t expire. I said, I know, but the coupons I have do! Crossing my fingers they have it back soon.
i used 2 of the olay B1G1 facial cleansers and 1 $3 off on regenerist facial cleanser/moisturizer for my rebate. get 4 of the daily facials cleansing cloth (pay for only 2 with B1G1 coupons) and 1 regenrist cream cleanser to hit $30. only paid about $5 for 5 olay items. i guess it’s not so bad. (our reginal prices are always much higher.ah….)
