These are the best deals I see for the week of 11/7. Please keep in mind it is possible for some sale prices to vary by region. This post is just a highlight- the complete ad with matchups is HERE. It is always a good idea to PRINT the coupon policy and take it with you & bring your reuseable bags for 5¢ credit each. If you are looking for Qs for other items on your list, check the Coupon Database to see where you can find it or if there is a link to a printable available.

THIS WEEK’S GIFT CARD DEALS
Below is just a highlight- you can see all this week’s Gift Card Deals in the full ad HERE. The Gillette Razor deal is a dud in my opinion since the coupons are so scarce, and the Always & Tampax deal which has been ongoing had much better coupons last month- but if you’ve got some non-mainstream coupons, perhaps you will be able to manage a nice deal for yourself. You can see those deals HERE. There are also quite a few other unadvertised Gift Card Deals going on. You can view these deals as well as some scenarios on the Special Deals Page. Here’s the best ones I see for the week:

WIDESPREAD CLEARANCE REPORTED
*Clearance varies from store to store- there are no guarantees you will find the same. I hear that quite a few people have been finding the Toy Story 3 Edition of the Leapfrog Tag Jr. System on clearance. The set includes a Tag Jr. reader with Toy Story characters on it and a Toy Story 3 Tag Jr. Book. There is a $10/1 Tag system in the Target Toy book that I hear has been working just fine on the Jr. You can also sort the blog by clearance to see the most recent finds an check the comments on the posts too to see what others have found!

HAPPY SHOPPING EVERYONE!
Remember- If you are short on coupons you can use a clipping service (I recommend My Coupon Hunter) and see what’s available. You can also search for coupons on eBay.

  1. Marlene says:

just an dfyi, the Coffee Mate creamer caramel apple was on clearance for $1.38 at my store which makes a freebie if you can print the $!.50 coupon!!

  2. Amie says:

I would love to know if the HP coupon and gift card would work. I want to get a wireless printer and this deal would be great!

  3. jen danesi white says:

at my target they have the halloween candy 75% off i scored peanut m&m’s, and reese cups for 67 cents a bag….

  4. Kerry says:

it should work fine- the coupon shouldnt affect you getting the gift card- I just don’t know how much the printers go for…. I am gonna look too- I would love as many wireless things as possible :)

  5. Amie says:

Well that had the all in one HP 4500 for 99.99, and at Walmart it is 109, so it would be cheaper then Walmart.

  6. Lisa says:

I have noticed you mentioned the Kraft $5 off 5 coupon and how it rings in at 0.00 just wondering if you have experienced crashing the computer at Target with this or other coupons. I have crashed their computers 2x’s now once with the kraft coupon and on another order with dog treats. Just wondering if this is a common thing? After crashing the order they have to re-ring the entire order on another register and it is quite a production especially with 2 kids with me!

  7. Susan V. says:

Hey Jen, do you know if the Halloween stuff was still 75% or is it 90% off yet? Thanks!!

  8. Karen says:

Yesterday I scored Armani Code Men’s Cologne 2.5 oz on clearance for only 15.98! It sells on Amazon for $67.00, and I used 3 $5 gift cards from the Glade deal!

  9. Shannon says:

I did the Kraft deal at Target last night (I’m in Ohio). The coupon did ring at $0.00, but it didn’t crash the system. The cashier just had to override the price of the coupon. Seems they may be trying to fix their glitches- I had roughly 20-30 coupons and the system prompted the cashier after scanning each coupon to verify the price of the coupon.

  10. Adrianne says:

I kind of have to complain here…..I went to my Target yesterday to do the Curel Gift Card deal, and to get the Friskies deal. While the cahsier was ringing me up (she was a newbie), the front end supervisor came over, looked at the coupons I was using and told me I could not use a Target Q and a MQ on one item! I showed her the coupon policy which states that you CAN, but she said her store does not allow it (she was very rude, by the way)! Then, the best part came…she said I would be getting too much of a discount on my items, and she can’t allow that! grrrr……I am calling corporate on Monday to complain! Are stores allowed to opt in or out of the coupon policy?

  11. Kerry says:

No- while some areas are gray how stores handle coupons- allowing a stack is definitely not. I wonder if they had a sign right by their register too. make sure you get someone knowledgeable at corporate to report to and definitely tell them what happened.

  12. Adrianne says:

I will….I don’t think they had a sign there either. I definitley looked! I just can’t believe I was also told I wasn’t allowed to pay that little for my items!

  13. Karen says:

I’ve had all sorts of strange Target visits lately. Yes, I’ve crashed the computer——-an hour later still hadn’t worked out the mess and left without my 30.00 in gift card incentives. They were mailed about a week later. Funny, my credit card was charged just fine, but the gift cards were coming up 0 at another register.

I was purchasing 15 Glade candles for the 5.00 wyb gift card. I had a very “confused” cashier, nice but frustrated and when the 3.00 off 3 candles prompt asked her if the 2.50 was right she freaked. A supervisor came over and said I could only use 1 coupon on my entire transaction. Yes—–she was adimant about it and said if that “one coupon she was allowing” didn’t scan right it couldn’t be accepted at all!!!!!!!! :0 The candles stayed at that store—–I left with my Trick or Treat Mac and Cheese. :) Went to another store the next day——-no problems whatsoever with the candle coupons—–She K1ed her way through the whole mess.

Yesterday I was at Target and the coupons scanned wrong on some vegeatable 1.00wyb5 and came up .65——the superviser told her to scan one at full price for the 1.00 to make up the difference?! I wonder how many times they did that. So she took off .65 and 1.00 and for 1 coupon, I’m guessing her drawer didn’t balance.

I have spent more time at Target registers than I care to think about. I finally foud the Lego dog gift cards, only because I had to go to another store for my Glade candles. It is just too frustrating to shop there anymore. When you have to allow nearly an hour to check out ot go to customer service that’s ridiculous. I too am tired of the rudeness and the attitude of many of the cashiers and front end supervisors. I can’t understand the attitude when it’s their computer problem, not my coupons.

  14. Adrianne says:

I hear you! It’s so frustrating to bring your Target Q and your MQ’s up to the register (although apparently I can’t combine them at my store anymore : ) ), only to have the MQ’s taken off, not the Target Q’s! It’s happened to me more times than I can count. So then you have to go stand in the Customer service line just to get your Target Q’s taken off!

  15. Ida says:

Halloween is still 75% off at two of my local Targets. Using coupons, I was able to score two big bags of Twix fun-size and a medium bag of 3 Musketeers fun-size for a grand total of 90 cents (or 30 cents per bag)! The total for all three bags (before coupons) was $3.15. I had a $1.25/2 and a $1/1 coupon for any Mars candy bags.

  16. Miranda M says:

Finally found the Toy Story tag Jr set on clearance. It was 27.98 and I used the $10 off coupon from the toy book. it did beap, and the cashier was about to manually enter it in (since it doesn’t say any restrictions) but when she clicked enter the coupon showed up.

I was wondering if the single disc DVD of How to train your Dragon worked for the gift card rebate. it shows the double DVD set, which is not on sale. I bought the single disc as well as the curel and got the gift card for that so I am going to try for the rebate as well but I was wondering if anyone knew ahead of time.

  17. Elisha says:

Miranda, I was just getting on here to ask the same thing about the double DVD set. It looks like only the double set qualifies for the rebate??

  18. Kerry says:

Hey All- Regarding the Dragon DVD- it’s hard on rebates like this to know exact terms as there is no one to contact and get a straight answer from- and I may be wrong – but- the wording below the picture says “DVD and Blu Ray” and the picture shown is just the double DVD set. I am taking it to mean that the movie is available on Blu Ray and DVD and it will still qualify if you buy either or. The double DVD shown contains no Blu-Ray it is just the main movie and the sequel. the only other wording is just a copyright statement. It is consusing for sure- but if the double DVD was the requirement- I don’t think it would have said DVD and Blu-Ray- and if a Blu-Ray was the requirement I don’t think they would have shown the double DVD set…. what do you all think?

  19. Melanie says:

I’m not sure if this is still an active deal, but last week I bought 2 containers of Betty Crocker frosting for my sons birthday. I got a cat. for $1 of my next shopping trip from GM. This would be an even better deal with this weeks price cut if the cat. is still available.

  20. Kerry says:

Hey Melanie- I believe it expired on October 30th but yes was nice while it lasted!

  21. Lauren says:

Just as a side note……It’s how to TRAIN your dragon, not tame! Took me a minute to figure out what movie you were talking about….might have to go try that deal! thanks!

  22. Miranda says:

I agree that the fine print says DVD or BR, so I’m going to send it in and hope. if nothing else, I got the curel gift card and the movie for a really great price.

  23. Jessica says:

Im glad i somehow came across this post. I posted a similar comment regarding How to Train your Dragon and the mail in gift card offer on another post. Im also going to do what Miranda plans to do, get it and try to send off for the gift card and worse case i got some lotion/ gift card and a deal on the movie.
