I don’t know about you folks- but Target was so much FUN for me today! I mean yes it was a little hectic in the Toy Department I will admit- but not unbearable, at least not for me- and those in-ad coupons today (or print them HERE) are really quite something! I hope you all had a good time figuring out how to make them work the best for what you wanted to buy. Some of them are just amazing.

If you have not gone to Target yet, take a good look around when you are there- there are several price cuts that are valid thru 11/24 that can help you maximize your savings even more when you pair the sales and price cuts with the in-ad coupons. For example- the 50% Off wyb 2 Littlest Pet Shop, My Little Pony or Strawberry Shortcake can be used ON ANY of those toys! Here are 2 Price Cuts going on right now that you can use this coupon on…

Buy Strawberry Shortcake Berry Cruiser $17.99 (Price Cut of $2) AND
Buy My Little Pony Mermaid Pony Castle $34.99 (Price Cut of $5) = $52.98
– $26.49 (use 50% off (2) Littlest Pet Shop, My Little Pony or Strawberry Shortcake In Ad Q x11/24
= $26.49 for both. Or a total savings of $33.49 between Price Cuts & Coupon

If you don’t want to spend that much and are just looking to get one larger, more expensive Strawberry Shortcake, My Little Pony or Littlest Pet Shop toy for a great price- just pair things with smaller, less expensive toys for the 2nd one that you can use for stocking stuffers. You will still get 50% off BOTH toys. At my store they had My Little Pony Ponyville sets for as low as $4.84 and other smaller items.

The 50% Disney Princess Coupon is a pretty terrific one too. It can be used on anything as long as it is a Princess doll, dress or playset- and they have some great buys after the coupon.

The Fisher Price is another GREAT coupon, and remember- it is good on Nearly ANYTHING Fisher Price in the Toy Department that is $19.99 or higher- there are a few exceptions- (Loving Family, Retro Toys, or Angelina Ballerina) but anything else Fisher Price is fine. That means Imaginext, Trio and more!

Last of all is what I feel was an awesome buy and I took advantage of it for my little Star Wars & Lego fan I have running around here… 😉

Star Wars LEGO Plo Koon’s Jedi Starfighter $19 (On Price Cut of $5 thru 11/24)
-$5/1 LEGO Toy $14.99+ Target In-Ad Coupon or PRINT x11/24
= $14 for a set that regularly sells for $24.99.

Just be sure to look beyond what is in the ad as well and just scour the toy department! There are sales & price cuts on lots of toys that you can use these coupons on beyond what’s in the ad! And the Tag Book sale went great for me as well, They accepted both my coupons- they decided to leave it up to the scanner, and the scanner took both with no beeps, so that was super sweet. All in all – my toy haul went great today and this is what I did:

TRANSACTION #1
Bought 2 Tag Books at $13.99 each = $27.98
-$13.98 (one is free with B1G1 Sale)
-$10 (used two -$5/1 Tag Book over $9 (watch video & enter Sweeps HERE for Q)
= $3.99 after coupons and deal

TRANSACTION #2
Bought 2 Tag Books at $9.99 each AND Bought Cuponk Game $7 AND
Bought Star Wars LEGO Plo Koon’s Jedi Starfighter $19 = $45.98
-$9.99 (one tag book was free with B1G1 Deal)
-$10 (used two -$5/1 Tag Book over $9 (watch video & enter Sweeps HERE for Q)
-$5/1 LEGO Toy $14.99+ Target In-Ad Coupon or PRINT x11/24
-$5/1 Cuponk Game Target Toy Book Coupon OR
PRINT x11/24
= $15.99 after coupons, price cut and Tag deal

For a Grand Total of $19.98 for the Star Wars Lego Set, 4 Tag Books and Cuponk Game!! The Lego set alone would have been $5 more than that regular price! Let me know how y’all did today!

For the complete matchups for the toys in the 4-Day Pre Black Friday Ad (11/21 – 11/24) see my post HERE or you can check out my Best Deals Post HERE.

Thanks Santa! :) I also got 4 tag books (free after coupons), another princess toddler doll set, and 4 Littlest pet shop toys. With the other groceries and mittens, I only paid $85! With a 2 year old and 1 month old, I have been severely neglecting my Target fetish! Sounds like this is a week that shouldn’t be missed.

Does anyone know – if you receive a Catalina for a free $5 gift card when you buy 2 packs of Huggies – will you get 2 $5 gift cards this week since there is an In-Ad deal for a $5 gift card when you buy 2 packs…Any help would be appreciated!

Also, I got some FANTASTIC high dollar Target coupons when we did our baby registry, so if you’re expecting or have a new little one underfoot, it might be worth registering just for the nice bag of goodies!

  5. I was excited at Target today, too. I got the My Little Pony Big Play Set along with a little $4.89 My Little Pony Set, 2 Leapfrog Books and the Coupong came and spend $22 plus tax on it all… whohoo…

Second transaction I also got 2 of the lego sets, one Nerf gun that DS has been begging for ( with Cp it came down to $35 from $50…so not bad), Monopoly U Build set, a second Couplonk game, 2 V tech smile games and spend $80 on all of that… so between Both transactions I spend a little over $100 and had a boat load of Toys… !!!

  7. Rosie T says:

I don’t shop Sunday, but I’m SO excited to get in there tomorrow morning! On the Fisher Price coupon… does it have to be used on ONE toy priced $19.99 or higher, or can I use it if my total for Fisher Price toys is $19.99 or higher? I want the Nativity for $14 (SO EXCTIED!!! You can’t get them ANYWHERE that cheap!), and would like to buy something small and use the Q, but I’m not sure if thats proper use…

I too rather enjoyed myself in the toy dept.. it was crazy busy but there were plenty of people working the dept to help. many of the items i purchased were not on the shelf i asked and she scanned the tag and went to the back to get it. she then followed me around until i had everything i needed on my list. very helpful!

  9. Madonna says:

I was able to make a quick trip this evening and scored some great deals (although I was a little disappointed they were out ofstock with Alice in Wonderland. A lot of the good dels were for older kids (DD is 15 months) but the trip was still worth my time. I hope to go back again w/ my printed coupons and my mom’s ad to score some more deals. I wish the BOGO for the Tag books included Tag Jrs tho!

  10. Jen K says:

I got the Rapunzel doll for $27.50 (REG $59.99) and the toy story track with woody and buzz shake em cars for $29.99 (REG 49.99). Plus three hasbro games for $10 after $5/3 coupon. I am going to make another trip tomorrow :)

  11. Tami W. says:

I bought several toys, groceries and even a calendar (bummer- no q for that one), I spent $38.99 and saved $74.80!! Thanks so much for all of your great tips!

  12. MJ says:

I loved target today… My kids have been asking for the Cupkonk… The original price was too steep, but at $2 yeah I was happy to buy.

  13. Judy says:

My best Target trip yet! I spent $17.33 and saved $26.75. Too tired from all the shopping to list everything. My highlights…

    3 Sleepwear Tanks ($7.99 regularly…on clearance for $3.98) –
used $10 Target sleepwear coupon = $1.94 for 3 tanks or $0.65 each

5 trial size items free (2 Eucerin lotions, 1 Tide, 1 Degree)

Thank you so much for all the work you do to help us save BIG!

  14. allison says:

I saw your post about the Tag books and I went to target today and bought 2 for 9.99 and used 2 coupons and the cash register (not the employee) overrides the BOGO and just discounts each by $5, charging me 9.99 for 2. So i went to customer service and talked to them and they returned the 2 books and let me buy them again using only 1 coupon, so I got 2 books for $5. I see many peeple on here saying they got theres for free??? Customer service said what the cash register does is correct, and that I wasnt the only person trying to get this deal at that store today. I did get good hasbro games though.

  15. Amy says:

How can you use the Disney Princess coupon on Disney Fairies? Those are two different product lines.

  16. Keri says:

I just wrote a happy little post about my Target adventure this morning! I got two Tag books for free after coupons, the Thomas Beginner Set for $12.49 after 50% off TQ, and the Thomas Early Engineer Set for $2.49 after $5 TQ and $10 MQ. On top of that, I still had my coupon from the Toy Catalog to get a free $5 gift card when you buy $50 worth of toys. The cashier gladly rang that one first!

  17. Kerry says:

your right amy- toy overload! lol

  18. Amanda B says:

UGH I feel like there will be nothing left for me tomorrow! DIdn’t make it there today between church and a grouchy girl that didn’t nap!! So glad everyone is scoring awesome things though…wonder if my tiny Target will have any stock? : ( Anyone know when Targets trucks come in? Haha. I just know my “fav” cashier will accuse me of robbing them again….its totally worth it though for the deals…

  19. Ray N. says:

Target was a blast today. Was there at opening…and enjoyed hearing the employee say to the crowd that they weren’t expecting us!

  20. Kelly says:

I was there this morning with my little ones and was to purchase 4 Tag books. I went back later in the day to do some shopping for Santa and I was surprised at how empty some of the shelves were! I’m glad I purchased the books when I did because all of the $9.99 books were gone! It was fun though! I spent $74.66 and saved $57.41.

  21. Jackie says:

I had a great time shopping! I am so thankful for your posts so I know what to buy when it is on sale! I got the paper jams guitar for $13.99, 2 tag books paid $1.99, and the star wars double light saber on sale for $24.99! Bought a few groceries too and was able to use the spend $50 on toys and get $5 g.c. I also used $30 in target gift cards that I cashed in from mypoints so total out of pocket was $19!

  22. Kim W. says:

Keri, where did you get the MQ for the Thomas Early Engineer Set?

  23. Kim says:

I also scored 2 Tag books for free, along with 3 Kung Zhu vehciles for $15 total! I also took advantage of the Lego coupon and got the Starfighter for $14, and used the $5/1 Lego game scoring one for $4.98 and the Cuponk game for $2! I was thrilled. I’m now anxiously awaiting the toy clearance to start after the holidays!

  24. Teresa says:

We did great on the toys, but I also found a great movie deal. We bought the Disney Christmas Carol DVD/Bluray combo for $24.99 minus the $5 in ad BluRay coupon and the $10 disney coupon. I also found a $10 butterball rebate. If rebate works as planned it will be free.

  25. Tammy says:

In an earlier post you mentioned that the store might be out of ads. Well,I didn’t get an ad this week and my store was out of ads but, they had a sheet of coupons at the service desk. I was able to get my Kung Zhu vehicle and pay for it at the service desk and they scanned their copy of the coupon for me! Thanks for being so helpful Target!!!

  26. Jennifer says:

It was reported on slickdeals that you could purchase $13.99 & $9.99 tag books in the same transaction & Target would deduct correctly. So if you bought 2 $13.99 & 2 $9.99 it would deduct 1 of each.

I got the Little People airport on sale for $19.99 from $39.99 & used the $5 off FP coupon. I’m pretty much done buying toys so I didnt get too much.

  27. Kathy says:

I wasn’t able to print the Leapfrog $5/1Tag Book coupon… it told me that I had already printed too many even though I had never even tried to print one before…. maybe that means they are not allowing anymore? Anyway…. the new issues of Parents and Parenting have inserts with LeapFrog coupons…$5/1 Leapster Explorer or Leapster Game over $19.00 and $3/1 any Tag book or Map over $9.00. Not as good of a deal as the online coupon but better than nothing… Any info on the best price right now for a Tag Book Reader system would be appreciated!

  28. Kathie M says:

My store had BIG signs up saying the 50% off coupons could only be used for the specific items pictured. Our shelves were all still full since they were being really picky on the useage. On a plus site the CPU let me use 4 of the Tag coupons with no problem. I got 4 Tag books, a Cuponk game, and a can of pumpkin for $3.36!

  29. Joanna says:

My target had Cuponk refill balls and stickers for $4.99 and the $5.00 off cuponk Q worked for this making it free! Not all Target stores have this, I visited two yesterday and one had it one didn’t.

I bought a disney princess cinderella dress for $8.99 and the cinderella baby doll for $4.99!!! Very excited about this deal! I left my $5 gift card Q at home so I may go back today so I can get it and use it on Black Friday.

  30. Rosie T says:

I made it into the store this morning… I got 2 Tag books free (yay! Love me a good FREE stocking stuffer!), the Little People Nativity, 4 cans of cambells soup, 3 TGIFriday’s meals and a $1 Spot snack cup for $20 after tax… a total steal. I think I might go back this evening to look at more toys… picked a 4 year old girl off the Angel tree and I need to get her gift. Plus I’m thinking about getting the new Christmas Carol movie with a coupon stack…

  31. Tana says:

I may have to go back and get the 7 DIsney Princess dolls for $27.50 – this is a better deal than on Black Friday (it will be $29.00).
I actually picked up a few early Sunday papers on Saturday and used the coupons on Saturday so I would not have to deal with a crowd. Also – Target will price adjust for 14 days, so I bought some of the actual sale items in the add too (Barbie Fashionista dolls BOGO, Nintendo DSI). This way I did not have to make my early morning Target shopping trip :)

  32. Amanda B says:

@Joanna, check the exp date, my $5 wyb $50 exps the 24th! Don’t want you to miss out!

  33. Joanna says:

@Amanda, Thanks for the heads up!

  34. Tallymomma says:

Was able to get the cuponk at $.33 each! My Target let me use my $5 coupons and the $5 off 3 games coupon in the flier! They also said it was ok to use my Lays coupon for the doritos sale $1 each. Luckily I was able to finish the rest of my christmas shopping at the clearance they had mid year.

  35. Angela D. says:

Our Target was super BUSY Sunday with NO help in the toy aisle (I found myself helping a couple grandparents find things and I do NOT work there..just shop there too much lol). I got:

TWO Hydro Razor Gift Sets 9.99
Used TWO $5/wyb Hydro Razor and Hydro Shaving Cream Coupon..off the Edge Shaving Cream
    Total 9.98 for BOTH!
*I am going to take them out of the package and use them in a gift basket I am making for my father in law*

    Rapunzel Doll 14.89
    Used 50% off Target CPN
    Total: 7.44

    Used TWO 50%/2 Target CPN
    All FOUR for 9.96

Total Spent was $44.40 with a savings of 44.75!!

Now bring on Black Friday..I CANT WAIT!!

  36. Reagan says:

I just blogged about my Target deals! I was able to print the $5/1 Leapfrog Tag coupon this afternoon. So I snagged two of the $13.99 books for $3.99 total AND 2 Cuponk games for $2 each AND Lego Atlantis for $10 so $19 for it all!!! Thanks Kerry for the deals!

  37. Katie says:

I dont shop on Sunday, so I was a little worried that there wouldn’t be anything left for me on Monday, but I was pleasantly surprised to see full shelves, and more importantly, full pegs of Tag Books. I got 10 books for $13.98. Along with several princess items, including the 7 doll set that my mom had purchased for my girls, and I will be returning for a savings of $30+, and a few other toys. Way better prices than I have seen for black friday, and I didn’t have to compete with anyone! The store was totally empty! My wonderful husband made a trip in to Target for me as well since I was out of town, and got another 6 Tag books for $4. I had previously purchased the Tag Jr for $5, but this deal convinced me to return it an buy the regular tag to get the super sale on these books. Thanks so much for the heads up! Our shopping for birthdays, easter, and Christmas are about done for the next year!

  38. julie says:

I did pretty good. today. Got two legos and 2 of the cuponk games. could have cost 50.00 but with my coupons its was only 30…. the only thing that stunk was the star wars plo Koon’s was NOT on sale at my store had to pay the full price.. Of course its cheaper on line but they wont price match… I hate when this happens

  39. Lindsay says:

I did great as well but I was just contacted from a friend who is currently shopping at Target. Next to the Littlest Pet Shop, Strawberry Shortcake and My Little Pony items there is a new sign that popped up today that states:

“The 25% and 50% off toy coupons featured in this week’s ad only apply to the items referenced on the coupon. They do no apply to the entire purchases around (couldn’t read this last word from the picture I was sent)

    We apologize for any inconvinience.”

Anyone else seen this? And what exactly does that mean? I was able to get the cute small toys on Sunday ($5.00 Strawberry and $5.00 My Little Pony) for $2.52 a piece (50% off both)

    Any ideas?

  40. Kerry says:

Hey Lindsay- in my opinion that’s just silliness since the items referenced on the coupon are ANY. lol it’s almost comical and I would tell your friend to go to another Target if she can or call corporate & give it a go. it will depend on who she talks to- but pure silliness if you ask me- if they wanted them to be on specific items- they would have said so just like their toy catalog- just my thoughts anyway…
