So yesterday I was completely shocked to find Valentine’s Day down to 90% off at my store. I really did not expect it to happen until the 22nd. I pretty much missed the boat, almost everything non-perishable was gone except class exchange Valentines, but I still managed to find a few things for a heck of a deal- including some stickers, and Star Wars Valentine’s for next year. Candy was also down again to 75% off and there was a ton of it. But probably because although Valentine’s was clearly marked 90% off, Candy only had 50% off signs up. So I grabbed a couple of bags of Dove Milk Chocolate Hearts and Dark Chocolate M&M’s.  Just couldn’t resist. ;) So be sure to check by scanning even if you don’t see 90% off signs, as you may just get a surprise! How did y’all do on Valentine’s clearance this year?

I had a good run with the 75% off Valentine Clearance. I got 4 of the small striped blankets for 2.49 each (3 will be xmas gifts for coworkers), One bigger fuzzy blanket with the birds for $5. Table cloth for 1.25, shower curtain, bath mat and bath hand towels at75% off, don’t remember the exact price. Two littles pet shop sets for my daughters Easter basket, and a set of spongebob stickers. 2 Pillows at $2.49, and 2 sets of the kid plates and bowls. Very happy that I finally got to be a part of one of the 75% of sales. I usually miss them.

50% off- I was able to get 14 little pet clip on things (reward for girl scouts), wrapping paper $1 and a table cloth $2.50.
75% off- 16 Teddy bears for $1 each and 2 blankets for a girl scout activity. We are going to cut them up (blanket not bears) and weave a rug.

Kerry, I was going to tell you I went to my store in Taylors, SC yesterday and found a cute pair of Valentine’s socks I wanted. ALL of signs still said 50% off so I scanned to make sure. LO AND BEHOLD THEY WERE 90% OFF!!!! (THANK YOU for telling me to ALWAYS scan!) You better believe I ran back over there and started piling it in my cart. Ended up with 2 pairs of the socks, 3 of the cheap looking blankets that were originally 4.99 to use as Operation Christmas Child gifts, 1 bag of valentines rubber bands for kids, 2 gift bags, 1 roll of wrapping paper, 2 lollipop things, and another blanket that was originally 19.99. I was so happy! Unfortunately I didn’t see any of the blankets that had originally been 9.99 though, those were the ones I was wanting the most. Oh well! :)

I was super excited to find lots of merchandise last Friday at 75% off. I got 5 or 6 Valentine books, a shower curtain, dish towels, plates, napkins, picture frame, Littlest Pet Shop.

  19. Danielle says:

I went to Target in Federal Way, WA and it only said 50% off clearance for Valentines items, but then when I went to price check it with the scanner it was at least 75% off, so I just wanted to let you know that it may not be marked right on the sign and could be less. I got a really cute pink fleece blanket for $1 that I plan on giving in a gift basket for a baby shower I have coming up. There were a lot of things still at my Target when I went, but that could have changed because it’s been a few days.

  20. Rachael says:

My V-day clearance find was a Hershey’s bear and Pot of Gold heart of chocolates for $3.96. Both were marked down to 3.98 and the bear had a Q on it buy both and get $4 off. I never even though to check the expiration date (which was probably 2/14) but the cashier took it anyway.
