  1. Thanks! I know my dollar spot has these so I’ll be getting some. :-) Great deal!

Does smartsource always give three prints? Do you just hit the ‘back’ button? Thanks!

  3. S says:

If you go to Couponnetwork, you can print two more in addition to Smartsource and Coupons.com. So six of these plus two of the Target coupons means six free boxes of Nature Valley.

My regular store would not accept the $1.50/3 General Mills coupon, because, “We have to go exactly by the picture, and it’s for 12-packs.” I was so disappointed I could barely walk out of there. Not getting a deal is okay; it was the tude of the ast mgr and cashier that upset me. I went to another store, but couldn’t find their Dollar Spot, and had to meet someone across the parking lot. Sad for me; oh, well.

Does anyone know if the $1.50/3 TQ beeps when using w/ the .50/1 Nature Valley MQ’s? Just wondering.

  6. Agnes says:

no , it doesn’t beep, just got 6 boxes today.

This is such a great deal… I bought the pack last time for 50 cents, I think. I was driving to work last week and an older guy on the corner was asking for $…I did not have any change, but, I had a box sitting right there on my work bag. I know he needed it more than I did, so I gave it to him. :) Love that we can save money but also help others, too.

    Hmmm…I can’t find the $1.50/3 Q on there…are they gone?

  9. kimme says:

Cool thanks Agnes, that’s good to know! I’m looking forward to getting them free!

The Target coupon did beep when I did this deal yesterday. The cashier looked at the coupon for a few seconds and then just hit the override button. He did scan my 3 .50 Nature Valley coupons before the Target coupon, so I don’t know if that made a difference.

Although mine didn’t seem to beep, I had to justify the deal to a total of five Target employees. My cashier asked two other cashiers if it was OK. The 1st one said it was so she asked another who called somebody who said no … because the q was for more than the price of a single package. Nobody bothered to ask me. 1st cashier had already closed me out so they were going to redo the transaction and adjust it down. I said that I didn’t understand why that was necessary when it was $1.50 off THREE. So the 2nd cashier asked a fifth cashier, who agreed that it was OK and let me go home. Five minutes I’ll never get back, but I’m going to submit the ten boxes for the GM box top rebate and get $10 back for bars I paid $4 for. (Only used two TQs.) Hah! Thanks for all you do, Kerry!

I bought 2 of the Nature’s Valley dollar spot boxes (only 2 left), and 1 Toaster Streudel and the $1.50/3 TQ beeped “One or more items missing”. Cashier K1′ed it after verifying I had 3 participating items. I do wonder if the TQ is beeping because they are the 4ct granola boxes and not the ‘full size’ 12ct.

I went through the same trauma as Lisa. I was so disappointed after gathering up all the coupons and driving over there to be told they wouldn’t let me do it. They made me feel like I was trying to do something illegal or something. Ugh! Not fun.

    motherfish,
I feel ya… My experience last night at Target was SO horrible. I went to my car and called corporate and just when I thought corporate was going to back me, they said that I was not allowed to use 2 of my MQ’s along w/ the TQ (just like the store said). I was apalled and said it was ridiculous and asked if they’ve made any updates to their policy. The guy could not give me an answer, instead he kept repeating that I’m misinterpreting their policy. I was so furious as I felt I was not getting through to him. Basically what both of them told me (Target supervisor and corporate) was that since I only had 1 TQ (even though it was for THREE) that I was only allowed to use ONE MQ, because the policy states they accept 1 TQ and 1 MQ for each item. I explained and explained and gave them examples of that scenario and how I had a coupon accompanying each item. Nope. They were impossible. I was soooooo mad but there was nothing that could be done about it because the supervisor said that was what he was told to do by his store manager and corporate confirmed it. Because of such a horrible experience for something that I’ve never ever had a problem w/ at Target, and because this should have been very simple to understand, I don’t want to shop at Target anymore, which is sad because there is so much money to be saved there.

This deal did not work, the cashier looked at the $1.50/3 and said this will not work on the small boxes and she did the same for the manu. $.50 coupon. Went to the service desk and she said I could use the $.50 coupons but not the Target one. So she gave me $1.50 back. So fustrating.
