So I decided to take part in my community Garage sale this weekend, and although I have had many a garage sale before, I haven’t had one with a five year old Austin before. Everything was going pretty well, and seriously I was amazed that he was not complaining about letting things go and then all of a sudden- there it was, a total breakdown over a Little Tikes Picnic table that he has not been able to sit at for almost 2 years now.
Go figure. Matchbox cars, favorite shoes, and books, and trucks no problem- but the picnic table he can’t fit at- major drama. He got over it eventually though.

WHAT’S WITH THE 70% Off?
So I received several e-mails of confusion with Easter dropping from 50% to 70% off and honestly I am as confused as all of you. I don’t think I have ever seen it go to 70- the next step has always been 75% off!! Very strange and I am afraid to ask what it dropped to next? I don’t think my store will go again til tomorrow – but if any of you dropped again I am curious – so let me know if you found 90% or some other strange number.

For starters there has been lots of clearance headphones reported, but you may even be able to find some $3/1 Manufacturer’s coupon peelies too. mine was 75% off, and lots of different sausage on clearance as well as ricotta and solid mozzarella, crescent roll 4 packs and other pillsbury bake it your self stuff.

All the reduced sodium Sargento slices were on markdown at mine for like 2.40! Also the Silk that say DHA on the front were marked down to 1.95!!!
I just got back from target with 4 bags full. Spent around $8 and saved over $60. Majority of easter clearance was 75% Except for bags of candy like mini twix ,kisses those were 50%. One area was marked 50% where they had the easter basket filler stuff (like pez candy dispenser ) reg it was 1.99 but when i scanned it came up .19 which is more than 75%. Also picked up the cookie sheet with the molds reg 8.99 but when I scanned it was .89. So id just grap a bunch off stuff before its gone and scan it prices are not right if you try and figure them they are alot cheaper. Good luck.
Red dot in the dollar area were marked 50% but rang up 75% off today in MN. Easter was at 75%.
Richmond VA Libbie target at 90% off today. My sister in law and I bought 800 eggs already filled with candy for our hunt next year! The candy expires in July of 2012! Woooo hooooo!
