I am surprised to see it back, but the $1.50/1 Axe Shower Gel product coupon has showed back up and I was able to print it again. It is again only a Print Limit of 1. Kerry:

I have a question about the Kotex coupon from Red Plum.

It printed with information below the coupon (before I realized and could stop the print from wasting ink) stating “redeemable at” with a list of several grocery stores. I know it doesn’t say that on the coupon itself nor does it say ONLY redeemable at those stores, but the number at the UPC code begins with a 9, not a 5. I thought 5 meant manufacturer (which is what this coupon has printed at the top) and 9 meant store coupon.

    Thoughts?

Thanks so much for a great site!!

I thought a UPC starting with 9 meant it couldn’t be doubled. It’s still an MQ, it just means if you were using it at a store that doubles or triples $1 MQs, that one wouldn’t double.

  3. Kerry says:

@Jennifer a manufacturer’s coupon always begins with a 5 or a 9. The 9 is still an MQ -the 9 just means no doubling (for grocery stores or other retailers who double coupons)

would this work? You buy 2 of the Axe shower gel 12oz for 3.49 each use 2
-$1/1 Axe Shower Gel ETS Target Coupon 10-16-11 Target Unilever Insert x11/13
then 1 of these -$1.50/1 Axe Shower Gel product coupon available to print at zip 90210
and 1 of the B1G1 AXE Shower Gel or Detailer 10/23/2011 SS Insert (exp 11/13/2011)
so it would be 2 TQ and 2 MQ?

  6. Kerry says:

@Erin, you cannot apply another MQ when using a B1G1 MQ
you can also only apply 1 TQ when using a B1G1 MQ
Basically rule of thumb is- whever you are using a B1G1 coupon you cannot have any other coupon be it an MQ or TQ against the free item. hth and makes sense.

I was able to use the axe B1G1 and the 1.50 off 1 MQ at my target recently with no problem paid $2.48 for two :-)
