The ad does mention a coupon becoming available again, BUT I am 99.9 % certain when it goes live it will actually be the Disney Movie Rewards coupon I mentioned above and not a store coupon. UPDATE: There seems to be quite a lot of confusion on whether the refund is $12 or not- due to different links published on different Redemption/Refund offer cards. These cards found in gift sets may differ from set to set. So in other words, if you bought a gift set for Febreze at Walmart- the link on your card may lead you to a different redemption/refund offer page stating a refund of $9, rather than the card found in the Pantene Gift Set purchased at Target offering a refund of $12.

The cards included in the PANTENE GIFT SET AT TARGET will most likely lead you to THIS PAGE for the $12 value redemption/refund offer. HOWEVER, I was told there is a chance that even the links on the cards within the same group of gift sets purchased at the same retailer, may differ, leading to a page with a different subscription/refund value amount. The subscription value/refund value is based on what that particular gift set’s retail price is expected to be put on the shelves for. When you purchase your gift set, you will need to go to the link indicated on your card, found in your box in order to redeem/request a refund.

I was also told that you may only request EITHER a refund OR a Subscription PER Household, not both, and not more than one of either. If you have further questions regarding your FREE Magazine/Refund Offer found in your gift set, you can call CondeNast at 1-800-890-7104 & choose option #3.

So what is the bottom line? I believe in the worst case scenario, your PANTENE Gift Set purchased at TARGET, may include a link to a redemption/refund page offering $9.99 instead of $12. Still a great deal, still FREE, just not a $2.xx money maker. I hope that helps clear up the confusion.

Keep an eye out for new Pantene Holiday Gift Sets like this one that Misty found at her local Target. It includes a Pantene Shampoo, Conditioner and Treatment as well as a FREE subscription to Allure Magazine. These gift sets are priced at $9.99 and Misty said there were other P&G product Gift Sets available to choose from too.

What makes it such a great deal is that you can choose to turn down  the FREE subscription and request a $12 refund (the value of the subscription) by mail instead. Also- keep in mind that the Mail in Rebate for $10 back by mail wyb $50 worth of Select P&G Products HERE is still valid for purchases made through 10/31. Since the magazine redemption information & terms page specifies it can be a copy of the receipt submitted for the $12 refund, you can mail in your original for your P&G rebate.

If you request the refund instead, it is a $2.01 money maker plus you have $9.99 in product toward your rebate! The full terms of the refund can be found on this page HERE, but basically you must mail a copy of the valid receipt for your purchase, the coupon located inside the box containing the special redemption code, and the form found on that same page clearly filled out.
