I know many of you are as excited about this deal thru 3/10 for a FREE $5 Gift Card wyb 5 select Kellogg’s items as I am. It makes for great buys on Eggos, Cereal & More. Even though we lost our $1/3 Eggos coupon – being rewarded with a $5 gift card for buying 5 boxes of Eggos at $2 each is like getting them for $1 a pop- even without coupons! Kelley scoped out this deal this morning at her Maryland store- and here’s a few things to note…

For starter- it does not appear that any Special K products are included in this deal. The only Kellogg’s Cereals she found at the $2.75 Price Point aside from the Frosted Flakes & Raisin Bran in the ad were Fiber Plus, Crunchy Nut & Cinnamon Almond Raisin Bran. I don’t believe I included these in my matchups for the ad, but there are 2 more printables you can use for this deal- a $1/2 Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut Cereals & a $1/2 Kellogg’s Fiber Plus Cereals.

The Kellogg’s Pop-Tarts mini Crisps are included in this deal at $2.50 each. We have an insert coupon that can get you a nice chunk of change off this product after coupons and gift card…

DEAL IDEA: Buy 5 Kellogg’s Pop-Tarts Mini Crisps ($2.50) = $12.50
-$2.50 (use five .50/1 Kellogg’s Pop-Tarts Mini Crisps, any – 03-04-12 RP
= $10.00 – $5 Gift Card Back wyb 5
= $5 for 5 or $1 each after coupons & Gift Card

One other thing to watch for are select boxes of Nutri-Grain Bars that are included in the deal that contain $5 in Kellogg’s manufacturer’s  coupons on the back of the box. Kelley only found these coupons on the Strawberry flavor but there may be other varieties. The coupons are for Kellogg’s cereals, Pop-Tarts and more- including a $1/2 Kellogg’s Nutri-Grain Bars coupon that can be stacked with our $1/2 Kellogg’s Nutri-Grain Bars Multipacks Target Web Coupon x4/3.

Do you have to buy 5 or 3 items for the gc? You title is a tad confusing lol I think you got confused w/ the $1/3 Q we lost :)

  2. barbara says:

anyone know if the Eggo mini pancakes are included..

  3. Kerry says:

@Jillian- thanks- was an error- should have been 5

  4. Jackie says:

My target also had 12.5 oz Fruit Loops and Corn Pops at $2.75 with the GC sign. However, I had issues at my Target with the GC prompting – I got (3) Crunchy Nut, (2) Raisin Bran, (3) Fruit Loops and (2) Corn Pops, and it didn’t prompt until the 10th box of cereal went through. I went up to customer service and we think that it was because of the Fruit Loops and Corn Pops but the signage was also for the Fruit Loops and Corn Pops. The GSTL came over and said that they receive their signage from corporate and that it should have prompted. She didn’t really believe they didn’t prompt because they weren’t pictured in the ad because the Crunchy Nut wasn’t featured in the ad (I raised the question before they could use it as an excuse not to give me the GC). They gave me my GC, no problem.

  5. melissa says:

there are two cereal sizes that are both $2.75. Make sure to get the larger one, 17oz.

  6. Christy says:

Kelley… I live in Meyerland too… I’d love to scope stuff out with you!!! Do you ever go to the Super Target on Main? It’s my fave! :-) Thanks for the tips! :-)

  7. Kirstin says:

Just to make sure before I go… this deal is like other Target gift card deals and if I buy 10 items, I will get 2 $5 gift cards, right? TIA

  8. lisa says:

I plan on buying 5 Frosted Flakes for 13.75 and then using the 5.00 off 5 and a Target coupon for 1.00 off 3. this brings you down to 7.75 minus the $5 Gift card, making the cereal .55 a box. If you can use the Facebook free milk coupon even better!

  9. Mollie says:

You can most likely price match the Kellogg’s cereals to 5 for $10 from the K-Mart ad as well and if you use the $5 off 5 and get a $5 GC, its like getting 5 boxes for free!

  10. danielle says:

the rice krispie treats are on price cut for $1.99 each at my Target in S Fl and are included in the gc deal.

and there are specially marked boxes for a $5 book cash voucher if you buy 2 of the rice krispie boxes that have the book token on them..limit 1 per household..if anyone was interested.

  11. Jennifer says:

Yay! Love this deal! Plus, the $10 Kelloggs Rebate with the $5 off 5 manufacturer coupon and the $1 of 3 Target Coupon with the $5 gift card will work with the Raisin Bran cereal. Any other cereals on this Target deal work with the rebate?

  12. Robin Slojkowski says:

Found cpns on the back of the blueberry Nutrigrain bars in IL : )

  13. Jennifer K. says:

Some of the Poptarts at my Target had $5 worth of coupons inside.

  14. Jackie says:

It was bugging me that the GC didn’t prompt for some of my cereals. I read some other boards and the Corn Pops and the Fruit Loops priced at $2.75 did not have the GC signage at other stores. So I went back to my Target, looked at the signage to confirm again, then grabbed the GSTL who helped me earlier. We both went back and looked at the signage and yep, it said $2.75 w/a GC for the Fruit Loops and Corn Pops. So she called corporate and guess what?! They sent her incorrect signage! The Fruit Loops and Corn Pops marked $3.76 are to produce the GC, not the $2.75 ones (she didn’t have the correct signage for the $3.76 ones either). I then watched the GSTL on the phone with corporate, chewing their butts because she was having to do manual $5 GC’s a ton already today because of the issue! I tried giving her the GC back (I felt wrong to keep it if I wasn’t supposed to get it) and she said no, keep it, it was corporate’s fault! lol I felt so bad for that lady though – I have a super coupon friendly Target.

  15. stacy says:

I bought specially marked Pop Tarts boxes that had $5 worth of Breakfast/Kelloggs coupons valid until March 31,2013. The boxes have a red banner at the top that say Coupons Inside.

  16. amber says:

i plan on doing this deal ALOT. plus i was on Kelloggs website and got more coupons too

  17. CARMEN says:

Jennifer- What $10 Kelloggs Rebate?? I don’t know about that!! Please let me know!!

  18. Debby says:

I am reading the rebate and it states participating brands:
Kellogg’s Raisin Bran ($1/2 coupon) the 70¢ is for Raisin Bran cinnamon. So I’m confused- any thoughts on this would help. Thanks! Deb

  19. Jennifer says:

The kelloggs rebate can be found on the www2.kelloggs.com/aarp/rewards/ this rebate will give you a $10 gas card when you send in 10 codes from a specific list of kelloggs cereals. The only one I see that satisfies the target gift card AND the rebate is the raisin bran. Luckily, I love raisin bran!

  20. Cris says:

Planning on buying 4 poptarts and 1 minis and using:
    – (2) 0.7 poptarts – printable available a while back, still valid
    – $1/2 poptarts
    – 0.5 minis
    12.5- 5 CG- 2.9 qs = 4.6 or .92 per item!

  21. Lacey says:

I bought 6 eggo waffles( they had like 6 different kinds for 2.00 each) 1 gal of whole milk used the 1.00/3 cpn and the coupon for free milk with the purchase of 3 breakfast items and then recieved the 5.00 gc so in the end I paid .86 each for 7 items my son will have plenty of eggos for a while he just loves them

  22. Lacey says:

@barbara I think the pancakes were included but they might have cost more I don’t remember I bought all waffles because they were 2.00 each and the cinnamon toast ones were included too

  23. Mary says:

Just wondering before I head out – I was planning on purchasing 5 boxes of Frosted Flakes and using the $5.00/5 MC and $1.00/3 Target Coupon. Will Target except my free milk coupon wyb 3 breakfast items.
That will only be $7.75 for the 5 boxes of cereal and milk – Only $2.75 when you subtract the $5.00GC.

  24. pagee carlson says:

Just a heads up that I found the $5.00 kelloggs coupon book in my pop tarts I bought today. It seems just the frosted strawberry ( I bought other flavors and no coupons) It actually says on the front of the box $5.00 coupon book inside. It’s taped on the inside side of box. Good Luck everyone hope you find some!!!!

  25. Maria S. says:

:) I just gosh darn knew a better sale for the $5/5 Kelloggs cereal coupons I already used at Kroger’s 50% off was going to come up.

  26. crystal says:

Just a heads up: all nutrigrain boxes will have Q’s on them if they have the new design on the front. some stores my not have them as targets dont go thru these fast enough to get the new designs in.. i actually work for kelloggs so i wanted to let you all know when u are looking for the Q’s on the back of the boxes!! : ) just look for the new deisgn! : )

  27. Jill says:

I knew I had to coupon alone to concentrate and do it correctly. Yesterday I forgot to use my coupons on two transactions of the Kelloggs cereal! I was shopping with the whole family, which I usually don’t do when couponing due to living 30 minutes from town. I knew something was wrong but couldnt place what went wrong. I realized it when I walked to the door. Customer service reimbursed me for my coupons, thank goodness. I now know its a must that I coupon alone.

  28. Marci says:

There seems to be a lot of confusion in Target about which cereals are eligible. My store was running low on regular Raisin Bran, and every variety of Raisin bran was marked as a prompt except the smaller box of the crunch variety (18oz.). Checked with guest service and they said they would honor the $5 GC deal for every kind of Kelloggs in the size range listed, and ask them to correct it at the register if needed. It did not prompt but cashier overrode it and gave me $5 off instead of the GC.

  29. Lindsay says:

I had the deal figured out so my hubby could stop on his way home from work. He got 20 boxes for cereal and 10 boxes of eggos. The total made them all .69 each! What a great deal! Now I’m ready for Target to bring back their frozen food deal that they had last year!

  30. Michelle says:

I was wondering about the frozen deal food too. I never noticed it until last year. Is it an annual thing or was last year the first time they did it?

  31. Carey says:

Hi Kerry, I was wondering if like Mollie suggested, will Target price match Kmarts price of $2 for Raisin Bran this week and still issue a gift card when you buy 5 boxes? Or, does ymmv on getting the gift card? Thank you!! I am new to price matching at Target :)

  32. Carey says:

Oh, I just read your post on FAQ regarding price matching and gift card promotions and found it very helpful. So it looks like you can do it :) Thanks for all the information in FAQ section Kerry, I found it very helpful this morning!!!

  33. Carey says:

I just wanted to share that I went to Target today and was able to PM the Raisin Bran to Kmarts price of
$2 a box no problem. Bought 5 boxes, used my $5 off 5 coupon. My oop was $5 plus tax, then I received the gc! I just had to check out at GS. Just wanted to share in case anyone was thinking about PM this deal.

  34. Jill says:

LOVE This deal: here’s what I did:

3 Eggos ($2 each – $1/3 coupon from inside a nutrigrain box a long time ago)
2 crunch nut cereals ($2.75 each – $1/1 coupon on each from inside a nutrigrain box a long time ago)
    8 Nutrigrain bars, all with coupons on back ($2.50 each – $1/2 Target Q & $1/2 man Q)
