For those of you headed out to Target today- you should find lots of whatever Easter inventory your store has left up to 50% Off. While some specialty candy & food items will also be 50% Off, the Bagged candy and other select food items usually sit at 30% Off to start. There were a few food items at my store already 50% Off- the Pillsbury Funfetti Frosting & Spring cake mix were both at 50% plus there were some nice holiday baking pans at 50% Off too.

Easter clearance is a great time to pick up non-perishables for next year- like decorations, die kits, baskets, plush toys and more. Watch for some of the Easter Basket stuffer toys which would be great for stocking stuffers or party favors, or plastic utensils & other disposable table top items that can be used for birthday parties or other celebrations.

The Easter clearance usually does not drop down for another 3-5 days and stores will vary as far as when they drop to 70% Off- there is no definite set schedule. And what is left will vary greatly from store to store- but let us know if you found any goodies today!

Oh wow, yours looks so nice and orderly! I went this morning and it looked like a bomb hit the Easter section.

  2. Wendy says:

Are there any good coupon match ups for this stuff?

  3. Dayna says:

I picked up a cookie tin for $4.49, 2 bags of candy (can’t remember the price, d’oh) and the 4 pack cadbury eggs were $1.69 (50% off). Also mixed in with the Easter clearance was leftover Christmas cookie mix and St. Patrick’s Day items. 3 holidays of clearance mixed into one section!!
I also hit up Walmart as well . Everything was 50% off. I got a 5 pack of cadbury eggs for $1.39. So if these are your favorite like they are mine, they are a better deal at Walmart

  4. Marie says:

My Target had very little leftover. Mostly bagged candy. Will stop back later in the week when it is at least 50% off. Seemed like it was also like this back at Valentines day. Hardly anything left.

  5. Chris says:

I picked up a glitter egg dye kit for next year as well as a pair of slipper socks and the cake mix and frosting. My store didn’t have the cake mix and frosting with the Easter stuff but I knew from experience to go look for it and scan it. I also treated myself to a package of Reester Bunnies. I didn’t buy any this year but told myself if I found some after Ester I would pick up a package. :)

Target has coupons for a bunch of Easter candy which expire today! I used one matched with a MQ for M&Ms and got each bag for $.73.

  7. Marisol says:

Little girls easter dresses are also 50% making them $10.

  8. Valerie F says:

Does anyone know if the baseball bat filled with gumballs is 50% off? I was really wanting to get that for my son.

  9. Teresa says:

I went to 2 Targets in Sacramento, and they hardly had anything out, and I was there when they opened. Where is this nice stocked Target at ??

  10. Christine says:

my store was getting cleared pretty quick. the easter aisles were full of not only shoppers looking for a good deal, but employees still getting everything marked and moved. it was pretty crowded. when i got there, i went straight to the baking stuff in the home section. when i first saw the caraffe a few weeks ago i wanted it, but my friend told me to just wait until after easter so i was dying to get it today. we got there at 9am, and when we left about 1030am, everything on that end cap was gone. So i dont know if they moved it or if it was sold out already, but im glad i got my 2 caraffes, 2 kids cups, and 2 kids cups with straws. I got a table cloth, which is so cute. Got some grass for next year 4 egg coloring kits, a stamp kit, lots of candy, lots of plastic eggs. I think I’m pretty well set for next year. I love not paying full price. the sad thing is that now i refuse to pay over certain $ amounts for certain things. Or when someone gives me something and i know they paid full price for it, it kinda makes me feel sick and i think i could have paid so much less for it. It’s terrible!!! Couponing is so addicting. Loved going first thing this morning. It’s going to become my after holiday tradition.

just a heads up, i found the starburst jellybeans (13oz) in the regular candy aisle ringing up at $1.53 when scanned, but there was no sign marking it down or anything…i’m not sure if it’s still available to print, but there’s a $1/2 starburst/lifesavers jellybeans TQ and the $1/2 mq from the 3/18 RP I believe(i’m not sure though) so $0.53

  12. Britt says:

Today I went & picked up a pink wisk & a pink spatula from the easter section for $3 each. I wanted to wait until everything was 70% off but knew they wouldnt be around that long. lol I’m gonna put them in a basket I’m making for a friends bridal shower. :)

  13. Anu says:

I found some cake decorating supplies at my Target. I got a pack of 3 Wilton 4″ spring form pans for $5, Nordic Ware icing pen set for $3 and a Nordic Ware 27 piece icing pen tip set for $10!

  15. Elena B says:

    My store was in Brighton,Colorado

  16. candice says:

I bought a pack of 3 Wilton 4″ spring form cheesecake pans for $5 and a bundt pan that for years I’ve needed to buy along with a few cups and 2 snack bowls for less than $18 with tax. I’m going back to get the cake pedestal that I hid tomorrow. lol

  17. Sarah says:

Yet another year -my store was out of the coloring sets. They did have alot of the cookware stuff. I’m hoping though that something will be left when it goes to 70%

  18. Lori says:

I scored on the bakeware -cookie sheets for $4.50 each, other cake pans all half off. I found some of the small Wilton 3 pack spring form pans w/o a price and when I took them up, the cashier said that they were 99 cents and then 30% off on top of that – yippee! I also grabbed a few boxes of the funfetti mix at half off. I really wanted the Burt’s Bees chapstick that was with the Easter stuff, but it wasn’t ringing up at any discount.

  19. Tracy Donofrio says:

My store had tons of the matchbox car 5 packs. I have never seen that many after a holiday. Usually there are only a few. I am hoping they are still there when it goes to 70%

  20. Renee says:

I got there yesterday morning and hardly anything left! And at only 30% off too-Dayton, Ohio.

  21. Kelly says:

Four different targets and I only scored at one. Did better in dollar section with cards, pencils and some pails.

Easter is nothing like Halloween or valentines day where there is so much left over.

  22. Megan says:

70% off today in Harrisburg, PA, as expected. The things I picked up were a Bundt cake pan ($3.59), wilton pink spatula ($1.79), Little People Wheelies car ($1.19, but all they had left was 1 pink one), 12 pack of plastic eggs (.29), bags of Annie’s graham snacks (.35), and little cartons of goldfish (.29). Candy was 50% off, dollar spot at 70% off. Some of the checkouts still had the goldfish and Annie’s snacks mixed in with the regular ones–look for the colored goldfish with bunny ears and nose on the goldfish on the front and Easter eggs on the sides. The Annies snacks on clearance are the ones shaped like bunnies, and the bag had a tie-dye pattern on it.
