I did this today at my Target and used these exact coupons. Although the receipt shows all the coupons it did not take off the MQ’s and my total was $8.00 for 2 instead of $6.00 for two. I don’t understand. The same thing happened for the Starbucks coffee deal mentioned here on the blog. I used the $5/2 TQ and 2 of the $1.50/1 MQ’s and it only subtracted the TQ for a total of $10.98 for 2 instead of $7.98. Very frustrating, and I don’t get it. Please help if you know why this happened! Thanks!

Target receipts are really weird to me. Target coupons show up on the receipt differently than manufacturer coupons and if a coupon is tied to two or more item (like $1.00 off 2) the deduction may show up at a third location. I did this deal too, my receipt shows that each pizza was $5, then under each item it shows MFR Coupon $1, under each pizza MFR it says Refund Value $4, then under both pizzas (which are in a Special Coupon section) it indicates the Target Coupon of $2. If you add up all of the items you purchased and deduct all the coupons (Manufacturer and Target) it should add up to the subtotal even if the receipt doesn’t clearly show the deductions.

Thank you! My receipt looks just how you describe so I will add up the items and see if it works out. Not sure why it does it that way. I just want to make sure all my effort is paying off! Thanks again!
