UPDATE: It appears that Target has discontinued carrying the 7.2 oz size- and now only carries the larger 11.25 oz size priced at $2.99- I have updated my post to reflect that.

Sandie/Nita, I thought it was just my local stores that upped the price to $2.99. That is so disappointing!!! I think they are worth $1.99 at regular price, but anymore than that, not so much.
Yep, they are $2.99 around here also. If you have a Costco membership, they sell a HUGE bag of the plain for $5. It is over 3 times the size of the regular size bag.

They no longer carry the smaller size bag that is $1.99
You can also hold on to your coupons and wait for BOGO or 2 for $5 at Publix making them cheap or at worst $1.50 a bag. ….. just an idea! =)
