Turns out we have several things included in the Kellogg’s Gift Card Deal that were not in the ad, plus we got a couple new Target store coupons today to help us improve this deal. Kelley found that Cheez-Its are included as well as Fiber Plus Bars. There were also lower priced Eggo Waffles at $2.25 each.

She also found Kellogg’s Fruit Snacks included in this deal. Even though we have no coupons that I know of- they were only $1.99- so just .99 cents each after gift card- no coupons needed!…

DEAL IDEA #1: Buy 5 Kellogg’s Fruit Snacks ($1.99)
= $9.95 – $5 Gift Card Back wyb 5 Select Kellogg’s Items

Think the Nutri-Grain coupon is already gone. Went to print it, got 1, but was MIA for second print and for any print on another computer. Boo.

  2. Wendy says:

Do you know if the FiberPlus nutty delights are included in the $5 GC?

  3. Amy says:

Either Coupon Network, or the Target coupons, had a Kellogg’s coupon available a few weeks ago for $1.00 off of 2 Kellogg’s Fruit Snacks. I had printed 2 out and they were still in my binder. My expiration date is 8/6/12.

  4. tina says:

We got a .75/1 coupon for the Fiber Plus Antioxidant Bars exp. 8/12 recently. If you buy 5 and use 5 of those, plus the 2 Target coupons, then you could get them for .60 a box after the $5 gift card if I figured that correctly! :)

  5. Kerry says:

Thanks for reminding me about the Fiber Plus MQ ladies! got a couple more scenarios for you added into the post. Also re Nutty delights- yes they are included. Think our printables for them are gone – but iwll go double ck for y’all now. :)

  6. Stephanie says:

At my Target the tag said the 14oz Frosted Flakes were included in the deal, but they didn’t have any. It is the 10 oz size that is included in the GC offer.

  7. Amy says:

Kerry, I’m so confused. My Target store didn’t allow a mix and match on the Kellogs deal. I had my transaction set for 6 nutrigran and 4 rice krispies. Register prompted for the GC after the 5 Nutrigrain, but the manager and cashier both said the deal wasn’t mix and match, and that you had to buy 5 of EACH. I know this is a mistake, but I didn’t know how to argue this, so I said forget it till I could recap my deals. Thoughts?

  8. Margo says:

Where was the $1 off 2 fiber one coupon? Was it in th paper today ( what insert), or was it on the web.

    Thanks

  9. christina says:

Last time I went yo target with ta’s the cashier wouldn’t allow me to use more then 1 of each tq. Anyone else encountering this? How to we to the multiple deals without multiple coupons?

  10. Kerry says:

Hi Amy- I am so sorry you had trouble today. Personally if it were me I would have handed him the sign which said ANY FIVE SELECTED with everything listed right there and asked him to show you where it said you had to buy 5 identical things. I would have asked him to show me in the ad too. Nicely of course- but I am sure very frustrating for you today.
I would call your store tomorrow to see if you can get a different team lead on duty- ask tell them what happened and hopefully they will realize the mgr & cashier were misinformed who told you that. If all goes smooth and they tell you to come on down- make sure you get a name. It’s truly just not understanding the deal unfortunately :( Good luck & I hope it goes well.

  11. cassandra says:

At a grocery store near me and Walmart I have found $1/2 coupons attached to the boxes of Eggos!!! Keep an eye out for them!

  12. Amy says:

Thanks Kerry, I think the best point to make will be about it saying “identical”. I will call, and go to customer service sometime middle of the week. Thanks for the idea. I love Target, but trips like this sometimes just shake me up. I really appreciate all you do here. The rest of my transaction went fabulously, with the deals listed, so thanks again. You save my family so much! :)

  13. Melissa says:

My Target manager (in VA) would not give me the deal because of a new coupon policy which does
not allow you to use ANY coupons (store or manufacturer) with thier gift card offers. Has anyone else
heard of or experienced this? I have never had a problem with my store before. She said the policy goes into effect July 1st.

  14. Lindsay S says:

I was told that also by a customer service person when I went to tell them one of my coupons didn’t scan. She said that has always been the policy, but some cashiers don’t pay attention. I said that it doesn’t say anything about that in the coupon policy and if that is the case then they should put it there. I certainly hope that this isn’t a new change!

  15. natalie says:

What is the price of the Cheez-Its that are included in the deal?

  16. Kerry says:

    $2.69 – it’s listed at the bottom

  17. Cris says:

I was at TARGET on a saturday a few weeks ago and they were giving ou kellogs bars samples and coupons so look to see if you still have any of those. One was for 0.75 one fiber plus bar.

  18. natalie says:

Thanks!!!!!!Sorry I did not see that.

  19. Denise says:

    Hi!!
I went to Target earlier & was able to get 10 boxes of Kelloggs fruit snacks @ $1.99= $19.90, minus TWO $5 g.c promotion & then I used 5 $1/2 manufacturer coupons!! My grand total was 10 boxes for $4.90 (.49 box!!)

  20. Andrea says:

    Denise…. Where’d you get the $1/2 MQ ??

  21. Laura Smiley says:

@ Denise…you can only use 4 identical coupons per day as per the new Target coupon policy.

  22. Laura says:

@ Melissa I hope this is just some weird mistake. NO COUPONS on gift card deals?!?! That doesn’t sound right. I honestly would just give up shopping at Target all together then. I would talk to an upper up. I don’t see why they would deny them. That’s insane!!

  23. Christine N says:

if you are a mycokerewards.com member, you can get $1/1 cheez its coupon when you enter certain promotional codes. one of them is 10095827987467, you should be able to reenter it every day after 7pm until aug 12 i think. Here are 3 more codes to use: 10096122897198 and 10096071476917 and 10095913378567

  24. Renee says:

I went today and the sign said 14oz Frosted Flakes were included in sale @2.99 each-the coupon we can use the .70/1 Frosted Flake coupon on that was in RP or SS states size must be 14oz or larger. Of course they don’t have 14oz size but 15oz on shelf. I bought 3 of the 15oz and 2 fruit snacks. Used 3 of the .70 coupons and gift card DID NOT prompt. Manager on duty had to come over and manually put $5 on a gift card for me. Very exhausting day at old Target trying to make sure all my coupons got scanned, deal with the cashier who questioned every coupon that beeped and my impatient child! Thank heavens for the churros in the snackbar!!

  25. Angela says:

do you know if you get a price adjustment for an advertised price from a different retailer if the gift card should still prompt?

  26. Denise says:

Laura S.guess my target didnt get the memo.but thanks for the info

  27. Denise says:

    Andrea,
I believe it was from COUPONNETWORK.. It must have been awhile ago since they expired 8/2/12. Hope you can find it! What a great deal!!

  28. Denise says:

Oh to whoever asked about using Coupons on a gift card deal…you CAN! I did today on the Kids Suave yesterday & today!! I MADE $2.24 for every 4 I bought :)

  29. Kristin R says:

I posted this in the other Kellogg’s thread too, but thought it might be useful here as well!

There are coupon books at my local grocery store (Cub) with Kelloggs coupons in them making the deals at Target even better. For example: $1.50 off school supplies if you buy two Cheeze-its, $.75 off milk when you buy two Eggos, $1.50 off fruit when you buy two of the named cereals. I have a few $5 off $25 grocery purchase coupons too (my store just remodeled which might be why they are printing so frequently, but I also got a $3 off $25 at a different store last night), so when those combine with buying 10 Kellogg’s items, I am saving another $5. 15.84 (6 cheeze its) plus $11 (4 cereals) = 26.96 – $5 = 21.96 – $10 in gift cards = $11.96 -$1 Target cereal coupon = $10.96 for the 10 Kellogs items plus 4.50 in school supplies and $3.00 in fruit. I think that math was right. To add to it there is a .50 coupon off 3 8 packs of crayola crayons Target back to school coupon that I also used last night. The 8 packs are pretty fun with glitter, shimmer, metallic, etc. crayons. My daughter wants a princess birthday party and there are princess crayons that I bought to go with her gift.
