Ending tomorrow, Kroger has Kellogg’s cereal for $1.99 for an even better deal when you ad match.

Was the -$2.00 (use two $1/2 Kellogg’s FiberPlus Bars 5ct TQ 7-29 RP#2 x9/23 reiginal? I can’t seem to find it, but I don’t know if I’m just missing it! Thanks!

I went to Target last night & got 7 boxes of Kelloggs cereal & 3 boxes Nutrigrain bars. Beware, the cereal is not always prompting for the giftcard. And I noticed the sizes on the signs for the gift card didn’t always match the products on the shelf. For instance, they had a tag for buy 5 Kelloggs products get a gift card. It specifically mentioned Frosted Flakes 14 oz. The sign was under the 10 oz box of Frosted Flakes, and there is NO 14 oz boxes of that cereal anywhere. It’s 10 or 18 oz only. So I didn’t buy that, which was upsetting because I had $.70 off 1 coupons for Frosted Flakes. But when I went through checkout, the boxes of Frosted Mini Wheats were still not prompting for the gift card, even though I bought the exact size & type listed. The checker finally just entered a coupon manually for $5. It’s such a joke trying to get these gift card deals sometimes!!!

I also found a tag for buy 4 get a free gift card under kids Suave body wash, which of course I had EXCELLENT coupons for & they’re on pricecut for $1.79. So I got 4 of those & of course it didn’t prompt for gift card. After the cereal fiasco I didn’t even notice I was missing the gift card for that, so I have to go back & either get my gift card or (more likely) get told that offer doesn’t exist.

I ran into the same thing with the mini wheats, plus I was overcharged by .25. The cashier did enter it manually for me too. The .25 didn’t bother me too much because I was able to do the following transaction:
There are coupon books at my local grocery store (Cub) with Kelloggs coupons in them making the deals at Target even better. For example: $1.50 off school supplies if you buy two Cheeze-its, $.75 off milk when you buy two Eggos, $1.50 off fruit when you buy two of the named cereals. I have a few $5 off $25 grocery purchase coupons too (my store just remodeled which might be why they are printing so frequently, but I also got a $3 off $25 at a different store last night), so when those combine with buying 10 Kellogg’s items, I am saving another $5. 15.84 (6 cheeze its) plus $11 (4 cereals) = 26.96 – $5 = 21.96 – $10 in gift cards = $11.96 -$1 Target cereal coupon = $10.96 for the 10 Kellogs items plus 4.50 in school supplies and $3.00 in fruit. I think that math was right. To add to it there is a .50 coupon off 3 8 packs of crayola crayons Target back to school coupon that I also used last night. The 8 packs are pretty fun with glitter, shimmer, metallic, etc. crayons. My daughter wants a princess birthday party and there are princess crayons that I bought to go with her gift.
