I’m having problems with Target scanning my coupon, it appearing to be working then not finding the money off on my receipt. this is occurring when I use multiples of the same coupon either printed or from the paper. anybody else???
I went to Target today and there were Head and Shoulders (in football wrapped packaging) on clearance for $3.48. I used the $2/1 Head and Shoulders Coupon from the P&G 9/30 insert and the $1/1 Head and Shoulders TQ from the Red Plum 9/16 insert. I got the shampoo for $0.48!
Have you added up what the total would have been after sales and coupons and compared it to the end price on the receipt? I’ve thought several times that they missed coupons but when I figured up what it should be with all my coupons and then looked at the total on bottom of receipt it was the same. They have the weirdest receipts and it will show only one coupon but two will of come off. I have had problems with the mobile coupons when I’m buying more than one item from the list. I don’t know if they need to scan it for each item or not, usually the cashier just manually puts in the missing discount for me. Hope this helps.
I’ve had that problem when it’s been on a free item. The system promts them to enter price but if they aren’t paying attention and keep scanning other coupons, the register will still be waiting on the cashier to put in a price and that could really mess you up. I watch every coupon get deducted, to make sure they don’t miss one or one get stuck to another or whatever.
I noticed the last time I went shopping that most of the Target coupons state 1 coupon per item per purchase. You used to be able to use 4 like Target coupons. I don’t know if they are all like that, but they have to override it at the register for it to actually go through or it will look like it does and it actually does not.
When its a target coupon you won’t necessarily see it they deduct it from the product price , then below that the manu coupons will deduct. So say you bought tyson chicken nuggets for $5.99. You use the target coupon for $1.00 off, on your receipt it will say $4.99. Then right below it will take any manufacturer coupons off. It can be confusing. I always have a feel for what my total should be and make sure it matches. If not then something is wrong. Their receipts can be hard to decipher.
It can be confusing at first. If the coupon scanned properly and does not prompt the cashier to overide it will appear on your receipt as a price reduction on the original or sale price. For example; if the item, lets say Doritos, is $4.99 and you have a $2.00 Target coupon, the price for “Doritos” on your receipt will be $2.99. Sometimes is says “Target Coupon” under the item. But it is different from how MFR Coupons come off on the receipt. Hope this helps.
To address the 1 coupon per visit on the targets coupons, I have been told 2 different stories. 3 of the Targets in my area say 4 Target Q s, the other one only 1. I think it is more the store/cashier you get!
And I totally agree with it depending on the cashier/store as well. I never had a problem with my coupons and using multiples until last week. Hoping it was a fluke!
It happened to me as well. I had three Kelloggs nutty bar coupons. The cashier scanned them all! But when I looked at the receipt, only one has been taken off. The customer service gave me back cash for it.

This is for Target CPNS Btw. Some MFR Coupons are deducted at the bottom of receipt.
We can use 2 manufacturer coupons and one Target coupon to buy 2 skillet sauces?
Hey Chantal- the Target coupon is valid on two. the MQ is valid on 1. so you are still using one Tq and 1 MQ per item as stated in the policy
