If you have the FREE ibotta app, a fun & easy way to earn extra money while shopping, there’s a  new offer available to earn up to $1 on Green Apple Chapstick. The offer is valid on ANY size chapstick, and some of you may be able to find single packs in your travel section for just .68 cents, turning this into a smal money maker after the earning opportunity! *NOTE* The single Green Apple Chapsticks are not carried at all Target Locations.

Also, there is still a limited-time “Share the Love” offer available for a FREE $5 credit for new Ibotta Users when you sign up HERE! For complete details on how this great program works, you can check out my post HERE.

I also have a couple tips for being sure that the products you buy qualify & match up for the ibotta app earning opportunites. For starters- you can always read all the details on each ibotta offer by clicking on the small “i” symbol near the top right corner. The image will flip and take you to the details. Be sure to scroll all the way down for complete Offer Details.

Another helpful feature of Ibotta is the barcode scanner. If you’re still unsure of whether you are matching the right product to the right offer, then this is an easy solution. When you’re in the store, just bring up the ibotta offer you’re trying to match and then click on the little barcode icon in the very top right corner. A scan window will open so you can scan the product and find out whether it’s a match! :)

My new favorite thing on the ibotta app is the shopping list function.

I really like how the shopping list easily shows you when an offer will expire! Sometimes an offer will run out before the expiration date, but at least you know the absolute last day the offer will be available.

The shopping list is a vertical scrolling list that is sorted into categories.
A shopping list is created once you start completing the tasks for each offer. It’s a compilation of all offers you have completed tasks for.
You can also email the list to yourself, or someone else.

    Open the ibotta app
Go to settings (the 3 lines in the upper left corner)
Select Shopping List in the menu
Pick your preferred store and a list will open of all the offers you have completed that are available at that particular store
The “Email” button is in the upper right-hand corner

If you haven’t signed up for ibotta yet, the “Share the Love” program is still going on. You can receive a $5 credit when you redeem your first offer! Here’s my invitation link, if you’d like to sign up:

If you purchase the item 2 days ago and just sign up Ibotta today, can I still redeem it? Or have to tap the saving first before purchasing?

  5. Jessica M. says:

Jun- as long as you have the receipt from when you bought the item you can redeem the offer. I have started saving all my receipts just in case a deal comes along, and they’ve definitely come in handy!

  6. Kerry says:

Jun – I believe you can go ahead and redeem the item. Just do the activities on the ibotta app, scan your receipt and upload it. When I first learned about ibotta, I scanned a receipt for a product I had bought prior to downloading the app. So I would go ahead and try it. Let me know how it works out!
