Here are some FREE & Discount events going on this weekend. Many may seem to have consistent national participation- but it is always wise to call your local location to be sure they are participating.  

b&n4-21BARNES & NOBLE: This Saturday, 4/22 at 11 am, head over to Barnes & Noble for a special story time featuring We Are The Dinosaurs! Just go HERE and enter your zip code to find a store near you and check out future events.

GROUPON: Sign up and receive a daily email from Groupon with coupon offers for savings up to 90% in a city near you. Just visit the Groupon site, choose your city and then enter your e-mail. Each day they feature something cool to do in your city at an unbeatable price. To learn more about how Groupon works, go HERE, and see if there is a city close enough to you to take advantage of some of these great deals.

MICHAEL’S KIDS CLUB:
 Kids can make and take home a completed project– cost varies by project and includes supplies (usually in $2 – $7 range). Recommended for ages 3 and up. This weekend, there’s a fun family Tie Dye craft event. Family members can buy their own T-Shirt to Tie Dye and the rest of the supplies are free. Plus, from 10 am – 12 pm, kids can create their own Earth Day Project, cost of supplies is $2. Check out your local store for more details.

SUPER TARGET: If you live near a Super Target with a bakery, you can get a FREE Fresh Baked Cookie or opt for a healthier choice and get a FREE piece of Fruit for your kids! The next time you go shopping, just ask one of the bakery employees for a FREE cookie for your child. You can go HERE to check for Super Target locations.

lakeshore4-21LAKESHORE LEARNING CRAFT: This Saturday, 4/22, from 10 am-3 pm, kids can make their own Watering Can to celebrate Earth Day! You can join the fun every Saturday with FREE crafts for kids at all locations. For a complete calendar of events, check out their website HERE.

POTTERY BARN: Kids can enjoy Story Time, every Tuesday from 11am – 11:30am– check out program details HERE. Members will receive a special gift after attending five sessions. Watch for special story time events as well!

disneystore-kids2DISNEY STORE: Check out your local Disney Store for FREE in-store events, including Story Time, Trivia, Movies, The Art of Drawing, and more. Just go HERE to find a store near you and give them a call to see what’s happening this weekend!

LIVING SOCIAL: Another good resource for great deals and discounts in your local area is Living Social. You can head over HERE to check for deals on all kinds of things including kids’ activities, dining out, entertainment, local activities, travel, etc. Just enter your zip code or city and state.

homedepot4-21HOME DEPOT: Register early! Coming up on Saturday, 5/6 from 9 am – 12 pm, kids can build and paint a flower pot for Mother’s Day! Kids get to keep their craft, receive a certificate of achievement, a workshop apron and a commemorative pin while supplies last. You can check out the details HERE.

NATIONAL PARKS – JUNIOR RANGER PROGRAM: The National Park Service Junior Ranger program takes place in almost all parks and is appropriate for kids ages 5 to 13, but people of all ages can participate. Junior Rangers are given a series of activities to complete during a park visit, share their answers with a park ranger, and receive an official Junior Ranger patch and certificate. And, did you know that Active Duty Military members and their families can get FREE admission to National Parks year-round?
