So I am super, super excited as we FINALLY, FINALLY, FINALLY got the catalina machines at my store! Wahoo! I have been waiting and waiting and the day finally came! For those of you who don’t have them yet- keep the faith- and hopefully these wonderful little coupon-printing machines will show up in your Target eventually too. I had 2 John Frieda on my shopping list today, and boy was I shocked when the cashier handed me this catalina after they got scanned. I literally was jumping up and down with glee! Now in my excitement I didn’t even realize myself- that it is a manufacturer’s coupon and initially called it a Target Coupon! Sorry to confuse you guys!! I guess I’m just dizzy with happiness!! But that’s okay- I could have cared less what printed – I am just so happy we got the machines and never would have realized unless it printed something!
I am also really hoping to eventually see some manufacturer Catalina Deals like we saw about a month ago with the Kraft Catalina Deal in some areas. I believe this was some sort of test run and I really hope to see these kinds of deals become a steady thing and on a more national level. Oh the possibilities…. it really made my day to see that little printer sitting there next to the register!

I did see both types on clearance at my store- the Luxe milk and the Squares- both were only 15% Off at my store- but sometimes my store is slow to reduce clearance further. Here is another coupon off the squares:

If you have a Catalina Machine in your Target Store- there are reports of a Johnson & Johnson Catalina being triggered by the purchase of the J&J Soap Buddies. The catalina you will receive is a manufacturer’s coupon for
$2.50 Off Any 3 Johnson’s Baby or Desitin Products, excluding trial sizes.
Kristen got this catalina by purchasing three soaps, however, Jessica & Beth both report that the catalina printed with the purchase of only 2 soaps. The Catalina also rolls- meaning if you take that Catalina Coupon and buy 3 more buddies, it should print another Catalina. I am curious to see if anyone else can confirm it worked with just 2? Let us know if you got it and what/how many you purchased that triggered it.
