Easy to Make Delicious Homemade Cranberry Sauce

Homemade cranberry sauce recipe

If you are like most people, canned cranberry sauce is a staple on your Thanksgiving table. Making homemade cranberry sauce is really very simple and the taste is amazing!

There are only a few ingredients required for this recipe, including maple syrup which adds awesome flavor and a touch of sweetness. If you are wanting to use this as a sauce for topping ice cream, you can adjust the sugar and syrup accordingly. Having a bit more tart sauce better compliments sweet ice cream.

If you are wanting it for a tasty side for your Thanksgiving meal, you can also replace a bit of the water in the recipe with orange juice for a more citrusy flavor. Be sure and allow for chill time too if it will be part of your main meal!

And, don’t forget cranberry sauce also goes well with chicken and more too in case you aren’t having turkey! This sauce is also festive at Christmas time, and since it’s so easy to make, you might want to consider making it again next month!
