There will be a new Huggies All in One Wipes Box available only at Target. It will contain 5 different packages of Huggies Wipes- 2 large refills, a tub, and two different travel sizes (560 wipes total). There will also be a $10 Coupon Booklet inside. It will be $14.99 for the box. I am not a huge fan of the big bulk packages- but I would have to sit down and do the math before I made any assumptions about its value for the dollar. And I also don’t know what the coupons are- which may also make a difference. But nevertheless, I wanted to let you know about it, in case you haven’t heard and if anyone purchases it and can give me a list of the Qs, I would love to know what they are.
Did these boxes make an appearance in anyone’s store yet? According to my e-mail from Psssst… they were supposed to start becoming available as of February 14th. Now granted, I was busy running around Target on Sunday hunting body wash & Razors. AND I was a little distracted with visions of a pantry filled with Keebler and Kellogg Snacks once I saw that GC deal
-but as far as I could see- they were not at my store. I am dying to check them out and see if you can send away for a super secret spy decoder ring or something else really cool!
Well it looks like I may owe Target $4.00. My mobile coupon did not scan when I did my deals and the manager decided it was fine to apply it once per transaction. But Katie just got back from Target and tried to use her mobile Q again on Tide and it said “coupon not available”.
The first time she used it yesterday, it scanned off her iPhone and had said one coupon remaining. I really thought that would mean that if she had bought a razor too in the same transaction it would have allowed the cashier to scan it again and it would be able to be used again for the next transaction. It looks like this may not be the case.
I’m very surprised that they are limiting it to a one time use per month. And how does it know? I will have to go and see the manager I dealt with last time and tell him what I found out and see if he would like his $4.00 back. AND- I will be signing up hubby as soon as I get done with this post! Looks like he will be dragged to Target with me when I need to use his mobile Q wether he likes it or not.
After all- half the stuff I buy is usually for him anyway!
-Thanks so much to Katie for the update- and if any of you have experienced anything you would like to share – please feel free to leave a comment.
Wow. That’s all I can say.
Well, that, and I did not realized how spoiled I am with my scanners!
Check out this picture Stephanie e-mailed me of the older scanner she has at her store. It must be really frustrating for those of you with older scanners to hear us talking all the time about “just check at your scanners”. That is a bummer folks and I hope Target decides to install new ones for you sometime soon.
-Thanks Stephanie at Katy Couponers
If this is what you have in your store- you can see my post HERE to see what the newer scanners look like.

Michelle from I Heart Saving Money passed on an e-mail from one of her readers, Carmen, who was told that all you had to do to receive a mailer was apply for a REDcard and then you would be on the mailing list. She asked me if I knew anything about that. As usual the whole mailer debate is a whole lot foggy but here’s what I know and my thoughts:
There are 2 different types of Target REDcards. There is a Target Check Card which works like a Debit Card through your checking account and there is a Target Credit Card. You can go HERE to see the differences and apply for both- but you can also just apply in the store as well.
If you ask Target Guest Services about Home Mailers there are many different answers you will get- the only one consistent answer that you will usually get- is that there is no specified mailing list for mailers.
I have been told that having a REDcard gives you a greater chance of receiving a mailer. This may be true- After all I have a REDcard and did get ONE in the past YEAR. According to many of you who have REDcards and have e-mailed me very frustrated- you have as good a chance to get NONE.
I have been told that it depends on what you SPEND on your REDcard regarding frequency and amount. As far as frequency goes- I tend to disagree- as I FREQUENTLY spend on my card. As far as how much you spend- this may be true- as with all my couponing- maybe I don’t SPEND enough on my REDcard to get a mailer.
I also think that it is just as easy for Target to purchase direct mailing lists in order for them to “Target” specific demographics with these mailers in order to entice more people to shop at their stores. It would be smart on their part, but sad for those who wished they would “Target” them with a mailer!
I know for many people a credit card is Taboo- and I am trying to convert myself to that way of thinking- or at least pay my balances that are spent each month. But you can also apply for a Check Card which won’t get you into as much trouble- since it runs off your checking account. AND- if applying to get a Target REDcard Check Card means that it possibly puts you on a mailing list- you really have nothing to lose.
BUT keep in mind since it runs through your checking account- you will probably be required to supply your banking information. Once you get your check card- it does not mean you have to use it, and there is no fee for having it. And maybe, just maybe, you will be on some kind of list that will help a mailer to find its way into your mailbox.
Target Stores will be participating in the Read Across America Campaign. On Saturday, February 27 from 9 to 11 a.m there will be a Special reading of Oh, The Places You’ll Go!, Free Dr. Seuss-inspired games and activities and Exclusive Dr. Seuss giveaways. The Target site states ”Free in ALL Target stores”, but best to check next time you’re in your store or call to make sure your store will be participating. You can read more about Target’s participation HERE.
If you are not familiar with RAA – it is an annual campaign that Schools, community centers and other organizations take part in it every year to get kids reading! It always takes place right around the beloved Dr. Seuss’s Birthday. You can read more about RAA HERE and if you are a teacher- there are still promotional items for this event available that you can request for your school. You can find the info at this same link.

Have any of you sent a Super Love Sender Card yet? Well it is complete and utter silliness- men in football uniforms dancing around acting goofy- but hey it’s for charity. You can create a video eCard HERE on the Target Facebook page and choose a charity of your choice to contribute to by sending the card. You can also upload a personal photo at the end and put in a message.
They are finally here! New Target Mobile Coupons. You can sign up for them HERE. Each month you can get new offers via text message with a bar code that will display on your phone for the cashier to scan. These can also be stacked with manufacturer’s coupons. According to their site: “The same barcode can be used for multiple one-time-
only coupon deals throughout the month. Offers always arrive on a Sunday.” Keep in mind that Standard message and data rates apply. See more info on their new mobile offerings page HERE. This is pretty exciting that it is finally happening- and I am curious to see if they will be exclusive offers or the same coupons available on the site. I signed up so we shall see what I get on Sunday!
-Thanks Couponing to Disney for the heads up!
Target has a new Valentine’s Day Charity Promo. They are giving away $1 million to charity to celebrate the “Two Big Dates to Love”. When you send a video card to someone special “you pick where the money goes”. You can see the promo ad video on their site HERE. It look like this will be through facebook. The facebook page is not live with it yet, but should be soon and it looks like silly fun.
