There has been a recall issued on the Lean Cuisine Spaghetti with Meatballs Entrees. They will have a product code of 13800-10390 and a product code 0298595519 P. It seems a few people have found a hard red plastic in some of the meatballs.  I know quite a few of you stocked up on Lean Cuisine with the recent frozen foods gift card deals, so you might want to check to see if you have any of these in your freezer. If you have one in your possession you can call Nestle at 1-866-606-8264 for further information.

CHECK FOR THE CRAZY CHEESE SALE
Since the Kraft is on sale this week- it’s a good time to check in on the Kraft Refrigerated Parmesan, Romano, and Asiago Shredded Cheese if your store carries it.  It was $2 again for me, and is always only this variety but a huge savings as it is normally $4.79 regular price.  If you find this crazy sale price too (it always ends up being very random but scan to double check), there was a new $1/2 Kraft Natural Shredded Cheese in the 3-13-11 SS. There was also a Target coupon for $1.50/2 Kraft Shredded Cheese that is nolonger available to print but still valid if you have it.

EASTER SECTION
The Easter Section seems to be filling up quickly, with tons of candy, baskets, and other Easter treats including all the little Easter Basket treats- a section I love to browse through and have my future clearance day dreams. I saw some Easter housewares too, some bunny plates, and bunny salt & pepper shakers & more. I hope clearance is plentiful this year as there is quite a bit of super cute stuff!

SIGNAGE ON OVERDRIVE
Okay so we all know that useless and unnecessary signs, imo anyway, are a weekly occurance – a sign advertising a sale that is not really a sale but the regular price or maybe a 1-cent difference with a big “even lower!”. But this week I think whoever was in charge of the signs for Target Stores had way too much coffee!

I mean all the theater box candy in my store is $1 regular price, there must be close to 30 types too. If the shelf price for all 30 already says $1 and then 30 big red signs attached to the shelf say $1, I just don’t see the sense in it. And okay okay I get that it might be a gimmick to draw attention to the candy, but do we really need 30 separate signs telling me they are $1, especially if the shelf already says that?

By the time I got to the Quaker Granola Bars I was seriously shaking my head since for each and every kind- there was a double set of signs with a 1-penny difference. What happened there I’d like to know? First it was 3 for $7, and then there was a 2nd set of signs for each for 3/$6.99. Was the penny supposed to push someone over the edge? And why did they leave both?   Oh my dear Target, sometimes I wonder about you!
