If you have never ordered certificates before- it is a great way to save money dining out. Go HERE to find participating restaurants by first entering the zip code, state, or city. You can further refine your search by a number of search criteria such as cuisine, price, restaurant name, etc… Once you locate a restaurant you can see the specific offer available for that restaurant.
These requirements will vary depending on the restaurant so be sure to pay attention to what they are. They are clearly described under the “add to cart” button in each offer. For example, the certificates do not usually apply to alcohol, take-out, or other specials at that restaurant such as happy hour. Additionally, there may be an expiration date and a minimum purchase requirement. For example you may need to spend at least $35 to use that $25 certificate. But it is still a huge savings on on dining!
After you pay for your certificate via credit card or paypal, you will receive it in your email to print out. Happy Dining – you are eating more for less!!

Welcome to the Knorr Report- my little weekly report of my adventures at Target.
Well I don’t know about the rest of you, but it is the end of super cheap Kraft Salad Dressing at my store. The jumped from $1.52 at my store up to $2.04. Good thing I am stocked up and dressing has fairly long shelf life, as Austin loves his carrots and “Branch” dressing. But the $1/1 expired on 8/22 anyway, so it was a nice run while it lasted.

GLADE CLEARANCE – NOTE ON THE $2/2 FRAGRANCE COLLECTION COUPON
I mentioned yesterday that I had spotted the 2 oz Soy Candles 50% Off down to $1.48 at my store and I know lots of you are finding the same. You need to watch the register when you use either of the following coupons-
-$2/2 Glade Fragrance Collection Soy Candle, 2 oz 8-22-10 SS x10/2
-$2/2 Glade Fragrance Collection Products
Again- the register is seeing the coupon as a $2/1 NOT a $2/2 like it should be. Therefore, when it is scanned it is only taking off $1.48 (or automatically adjusting down what it thinks is a coupon off 1 product). something to watch for, so you can immediately have it corrected.
“WE CAN’T GIVE IT TO YOU FOR FREE”
Yesterday I got an e-mail from a reader who tried to buy the Five Star Folders last week that were .50 cents each with a $1/2 coupon. We all know the register glitches going on and most cashiers/managers/stores etc can see this coupon is clearly a $1/2 and correct it when it scans at .50 cents. Unfortunately, some of you get inexperienced employees, or those who do not understand why it is scanning at .50 cents and feel that the cash register is a god of some sort and must be right, and therefore drama ensues.
Well in the e-mail I got yesterday, she was told one of my favorite lines upon the coupon scanning incorrectly… “It’s because we can’t give it to you for free”. In response to that- I am in complete and utter 100% agreement with Target. Now you might be saying.. WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY KERRY!!!???? But you heard me right. They shouldn’t GIVE you anything for free. But they absolutely can let you BUY them with a coupon, and if it so happens to be free WITH the coupon, you haven’t been given anything, you paid for your purchases, you just did so with a coupon that happened to make it free.
Fortunately this has never happened to me at Target, but I do encounter it at other stores occassionally. I calmly explain that they aren’t giving me anything. Giving me something for free means I walk in the store, you hand me something and I walk out. But that is not the case, I am not TAKING anything. I am BUYING something, if it is free after a legitimate coupon then so be it. The store is reimbursed the purchase price and everyone’s given what’s due. Or that’s the way it should be anyway. If you have this situation at your store, try and calmly explain the difference. If they don’t budge or still don’t understand, give corporate a call and let them know the trouble you are having.
That’s it for now folks, I hope everyone is having a good week, sans drama!
