While there are some of you who have reported smooth sailing on the Schick Disposables Gift Card Deal, and I am happy to hear that many of you are finding them scanning a $5.49 instead of the $6.49 on the signage, there are a great many of you who report just a complete deal disaster on this one.
One of the biggest issues (which possibly may have to do with the new register system in place at some stores), is that one or both of your coupons are scanning in at some serious wonky amounts. Many of you have been told this is because you are getting a gift card, which is why the coupons are not ringing in properly.
I caught a comment that came through on the blog yesterday from Stephanie, who also reported strange behavior on this deal and was told by one associate, that it was because she was getting a gift card. But fortunately she had a great little team of Target employees who seemed determined to get to the bottom of it, and they rang up just one, used just one coupon and guess what? It still only took off .49 cents. While this won’t help those who get 1 properly scanned coupon, and the second a crazy amount, those who find that both coupons scan in at crazy small amounts and you are told it is because you are getting a Gift Card, you could ask them to ring up just one in order to illustrate that one has nothing to do with the other.
