Target has some very nice new printables up on their site for discounts on clothing and even a handbag coupon. None of these Qs exlude clearance. But even without finding any clearance there are several different styles of Merona Women’s tops in the ad this week advertised at $6. They would be $4 after the coupon. Also- you should be able to score some pretty cheap Men’s & Women’s tanks and shorts from c9. Just looking online – I saw several regularly priced at $7.99 and available in stores. So these would be $2.99 after coupon. But you can bet I will be scouring the clearance racks 1st!

There are many new Store Coupons up on the Target site this morning, including a B1G1 Stride Gum that should let you get 2 packs of gum for FREE with a B1G1 MQ stack. IMO when buying 2 packs of gum and using both coupons, the coupons should cancel each other out and both packs should be free. Well today was major 5-year-old drama as Austin broke his goggles today. NO biggie you say, right? Oh how I wish…. First of all, you have to understand that my kid would wear his goggles 24 hours a day if I let him. They are not just for the pool according to Austin. They are for the bath, the shower, the beach, for pretending you are a baseball player who wears glasses, they are for pretending you are a bad guy, a good guy, a Stormtrooper, a cowboy- you name it! And they would be for going to bed too if I let him.

Anyway, they broke, I could not fix them as they snapped in the middle of the nose piece. So I promised him a trip to Target to grab a new pair. Every 5 seconds after that- “Mom, are we going yet?, Mom are we going yet?” over and over.  So we leave, and he actually agrees to go have a slice of pizza first, and more drama happens as we pull up to his favorite pizza place and they are closed. Not just closed, but really closed as in the fixtures and counters and everything else are stripped out of the walls.

Poor kid, he was just absolutely devasted. It has been rough around this area as several places just have not been been able to make it through these tough economic times and just fold. But how do you explain that to a 5 year old? As I strapped him back in I saw the tears just rolling down his cheeks and my heart just broke for him. Well we managed to grab a quick bite somewhere else and the entire topic of dinner was him asking questions about the pizza place and me trying to explain to him that the pizza place was not coming back.

We get done, we are now entering Target, he’s STILL talking about the pizza place, and I’m just tired of talking about the pizza place, so I am now practically running to the goggle aisle just so I don’t have to talk about the pizza place anymore and he can finally be distracted. Whew! We get there, about 20 minutes later he finally decides on which goggles he wants. So we start walking down the back aisle to make a loop toward the exit and I am scoping out the toy aisles- just glancing down mind you, and I can see red clearance signs, but I keep walking, so does Austin, and guess what? He brings up the pizza place again!!!!!!!

So I say, “hey Austin, if I get you a toy do you promise to stop talking about the pizza place?” He says yes, I decide it’s definitely worth the bribe, so we go to scope out the clearance. I told him he needs to find a red sticker, but even then there is no guarantee. Well, wrong thing to say cuz TONS of stuff with a red sticker! lol But finally he decides on this Star Wars lego set whcih I got for 30% off, and I also grabbed a Lego Police Mat which was also 30% off. BUt seriously check out your store for toy clearance. I don’t know how it will be like everywhere, but it was not just on the endcaps at my store, it felt like it was down every aisle.

And, last of all, I believe the Speedo kids goggles should have been $7.99 but they rang up $3.99, and had no sticker or sign in sight, so if you are in need, you may want to scan the goggles too!

*Clearance varies from store to store- there are no guarantees you will find the same. Lots of Covergirl Mascara being reported- so that can make the CoverGirl deal noted above even better. ALso reports of more grocery clearance going on- much of it in frozen food. Be sure to look out for the clearanced Venus Bikini Kits for hopefully a bigger drop starting to happen and you can use a $2/1 coupons found in the 6-6 & 7-4 P&G Inserts. There is also more and more baby clearance being reported- including lots of carseats and look for Outdoor Furniture and accessories as there may still be some left at your store that you can get a BIG break on as most is 75% off.

Even if you don’t have the Target coupon below, you can buy the razor ($6.99) and the shave gel ($2.99) and use the MQs for $5/1 and $1/1.  You would only pay .99 for both if you can find the peelies! – Thanks Molly!
