I know some of you are super-frustrated about not being able to print some coupons at Target.com that you can clearly see, and I can definitely understand the frustration. In  my opinion, the software Target uses to power and or update their coupons has much room for improvement, but it is what we have and what we must make do with.

It is pure speculation on my part, but I believe this sometimes happens when a coupon has reached its overall designated print limit. And while it would be nice to know with maybe a statement across the coupon like “print limit reached” or for them to disappear completely like they usually do, it’s not always what happens. Instead, one is left scratching their head at the message that appears saying you’ve already printed your limit when in fact you may not have printed at all.

I am fairly certain that at this moment in time- no one will be able to print any of the following coupons that may still be visible and perhaps driving you absolutely crazy right now. If you are seeing others that won’t print for you either- try going straight to Target.com and then scrolling down to the coupons link at the bottom of the page. Even if that clears some of them for you, it is likely you may still end up with the following visible but non-working coupons…

$2/1 Bed Pillow (Fieldcrest Luxury, Room Essentials or Target Home) Target Coupon x8/13
.75/1 up & up™ First Aid Item ETS Target Coupon x8/13
$1/1 up & up™ Item $3 or Higher Target Coupon x8/13
$1/2 Sandwich Bread AND Eggs Target Coupon x8/13
$5/1 Room Essentials® Bath Furniture Item Target Coupon x8/13

Sometimes it takes as long as a day or two, but they usually eventually disappear, and rarely return in the near future. So while this post certainly doesn’t solve your problem about printing the coupons, you at least know that you are not alone, and you didn’t do anything to cause it. It’s just an unfortunate batch of what I like to call “ghost coupons” that you can certainly see, but will likely no longer become a printed reality for anyone.

My best advice? Target usually issues new coupons in the wee hours on Sundays. I work hard to sort them all out and publish them sometime Sunday morning. If it’s possible, you should print whatever you think you may have interest in right away. While some new coupons sometimes pop up here and there- I try and post about any new ones as soon as I see them. But the majority of their coupons arrive Sunday morning, so it’s a good time to check in and see what’s new and what you may want.

With all the new Target printable coupons for home & bedding items, I thought it might be helpful to gather up a sort of price check list in case you have interest in some of these items. Prices can vary by region, so please keep that in mind. Some of the coupons do not expire for some time, so it is wise to wait and watch for a sale or clearance. But at least maybe this will provide a sort of price guideline at what you are looking at if these items don’t go on sale before the Qs expire.

All referenced sales and deals are valid thru 7/16 only unless otherwise mentioned. Please remember it is possible for sales to vary by region, but here’s what I noticed this week…

The Farmer’s Harvest Varieties are included in the Stouffer’s sale this week. They were priced at $2.19 for me and there is still a $1/2 Stouffers Farmers Harvest Meals manufacturer’s coupon available to print at Target.com if you haven’t already. So $1.69 each after coupon wyb 2 if you find the same.

So unfortunately the .75/1 First Aid Target coupon appears to have become what I like to call a ghost coupon- everyone can still see it, but it is no longer printing. :(  But, if you printed it already, and haven’t picked up your FREE Peroxide yet, or see an empty spot for the 16 oz, take a look around for new bonus sized bottles instead that contain 50% more. They’ve got a pink circle on them like shown in the photo and are 24 oz for the same price as the 16 oz. You can also scan to check if you don’t see the shelf marked.

I found the Purina Friskies 3.15 lb bags on a  short term price cut this week for $1.99 thru 7/16. While there are no mainstream coupons I am aware of, you may have some coupons up  your sleeve to take advantage of this price which is $2 less than the norm. Also- Karen let me know that after buying just one bag, a $1/2 manufacturer’s catalina printed out. While there is no guarantee on the catalina, if the same happens to you- it becomes $1.49 per bag thereafter.

Pretty much all Purina Friskies Wet Cat food is on sale this week, and some of you may have a pretty nice $5/3 Target coupon you can use. I found the Purina Friskies 12-pack Variety Wet Food Pouches on sale for $5.30, and coupons can turn this into a good deal…

DEAL IDEA: Buy 6 Purina Variety 12-Pack Wet Food Pouches ($5.30) = $31.80
-$10.00 (use two $5/3 Purina Cat Items 12 pk Wet Food Included, Target Coupon 6-5-11 RP x7/31*
-$1/2 Purina Friskies Cat Food Pouches 12 ct 05-01-11 SS
= $20.80 for 6 or $3.46 each or .28 cents per pouch

There is plenty included in the sale this week, Frosted Flakes, Cocoa & Rice Krispies, Frosted Mini Wheats with a Touch of Fruit in the Middle, Crunchy Nut, Froot Loops, and Corn Pops. Plus there are all kinds of goodies to be had in and on Kellogg’s cereal boxes these days. There are the FREE Diecast Cars 2 Vehicle wyb 3 cereal peelies, coupons on the backs for $10/1 Charge n Race Speedway, and now there is a new Kellogg’s Happy New School Year Instant Win Game.

Just look inside specially marked packages of Kellogg’s® cereals and Kellogg’s® Pop-Tarts® toaster pastries for a chance to win a Kellogg’s™ Cash Card worth up to $100. Some of you were lucky enough to get a $5/5 Kellogg’s Cereals 8.7 oz+ 7-10-11 RP x8/21, and there is also a $1.50/2; .70/1; $2.25/3 select Kellogg’s including Frosted Mini-Wheats touch of fruit in the middle, and Crunchy Nut 7-10-11 RP x8/21. There’s also a couple coupons on the Kellogg’s Site HERE.

-That’s it for the Knorr report this week folks- hope everyone is having a great week so far!
