Keep your eyes open for new hangtags spotted on some Seventh Generation Products at Target. They are for a $5 Mail in Rebate wyb 3 Seventh Generation Products (excluding single roll toilet paper). There are several Seventh Generation MQs you can print HERE. The site says print between 1/1/10 – 3/31/10. That may mean they will be coming down off the site- but I just printed one tonight and the exp date was 4/29- so you have plenty of time to use. Yesterday and today I received a few e-mails regarding some of you whose submissions for the recent $15 Olay MIR wyb 3 Body Washes were denied. I contacted them this afternoon to try and determine what was going on. I just received a call back from Alexis at Olay, who was very helpful and explained that in an unfortunate error- the SKU#s for the Olay Total Effects Body Washes (both sizes) and Bar Soaps were not added to the list of qualified products until late in the rebate period.
WHAT THIS MEANS
If you bought the Bar Soap or either size of the Total Effects Body Wash- it is likely your submission (receipt and form) will be returned to you along with a denial letter. It will depend on when you submitted your rebate. Since the error was not caught until quite late- unfortunately this will mean many of you who bought Total Effects or Bar Soap.
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO IF YOU ARE DENIED
Write a short note explaining that you know there was an error in the qualified items list and that your rebate is correct and re-submit. The rebates are handled by a 3rd party and they have now been informed of the error. The products accidentally omitted have now been added to the approved product list, therefore your re-submission SHOULD be honored without a problem. If for any reason your resubmission is denied again- at that point you should call Olay at 1800-285-5170 and they will handle your rebate personally.

There are no guarantees you will find the same things mentioned below- but I just wanted to share a few things with you all from my inbox.
*Some stores have the Brita On-Tap Filtration System marked down to $14.49. I am not sure if this is a widespread price cut- this was not the case at my store or 3 others I checked with. But something to look for in case the $2 difference would sway a decision to purchase.
*Alecia, Tara & Jean found the Pitchers on clearance for around $20, basically making them half price with both coupons
*Dara e-mailed me to say she found a Peelie with two MIRs- one for a $5 Refund by mail on the On-Tap Filtration System and a $5 MIR for filters. The rebate offers are valid until 12/31/10. I called Brita and there is no online form- you must have the orginal form, however the rep did say that it will either be a peelie or a specially marked box that should have the rebate inside. Dara was nice enough to take a pic of what the peelie looks like. This is definitely something to look for as you will pay under $2 for the unit after MQ, TQ & MIR if you can find one with a rebate.
