LIV CRAYOLA CLEARANCE: I took this picture on Sunday and could not believe the overwhelming amount of Liv Crayola stuff being clearanced at my store. Liv clearance was going on for many of you during back to school but if you weren’t able to find it then- you may want to check your endcaps in the stationary aisles. I believe everything was only 15% or 30% off, but something to watch for. There were also coupons for Liv you may have printed a couple months ago and if you did not get a chance to use them, they had a long expiration date (mine had printed with a 12/31 date) so if by chance you still have them- they should still be valid.

I did not find much else at my store, but then again I did cut my trip short on Sunday. Sorry folks, but I have been sick since Saturday and not really doing too well as of today. I honestly feel like crawling into bed and going to sleep. But please feel free to share any goodies y’all have find on clearance lately in the comments to let us know what we should be looking for! I also popped in a linky below if you have a blog.

Also- here are some other Tid Bits from my inbox….

BOPPY PILLOW: Amanda found the Bare Naked Boppy Pillow for $23.99 at her store and there is a $5/1 Boppy Pillow Target Coupon HERE to bring it down to $18.99. But it even got better for her since inside the package, she found a form for a FREE 12 month subscription to Parents Magazine. You can choose to opt out of the offer and mail your form instead in order to get a $7.46 rebate. This would bring down your final cost to $11.53 after coupon & rebate. -Thanks so much Amanda!

GLADE TARGET COUPON IN REAL SIMPLE MAGAZINE: Ashlee let me know that she found a $1/1 Glade Target Coupon in her December issue of Real Simple Magazine. It expires 12/31. Let us know if you find this goodie in any other December magazines! -Thanks Ashlee!

LEAPSTER EXPLORE COUPON: Alissa let me know that there is a $10/1 Leapster Explore on some specially marked boxes of General Mills Cheerios Cereals. I wish there was a Target coupon to stack with- wouldn’t that be sweet! -Thanks Alissa at FunFindsforFamilies!

THE MULTIPLES GLITCH: So there was an internal e-mail leaked to the public that showed how Target is trying to temporarily deal with the glitch that happens when coupons for multiple items are scanned. These coupons are all seen by the scanner as $ off 1 product and only scan for the value of 1 item. You are only shortchanged when these coupons are for more than the value of 1 of the items. (ie- Buy 3 cans of soup .75 each use a $1.50/3 and it scans as .75 cents.) The e-mail called it a Temporary Coupon Redemption Process and outlined several steps for employees to take when redeeming coupons. This internal memo showed up on several forums and blogs as early as Saturday and the Chicago Tribune also did an article if you want to read it HERE. (-Thanks Jamie)

Basically, this memo instructs employees to be more careful about making sure the proper coupon amount is taken off. It informs them that for the time being they will not need to worry about the speed of their transactions, and stating that the matter will be resolved within 10 days. But actually I have heard some stores have been updated already. Derek found that at one of his local stores, the register is now taking off the full amount off multiple coupons.  No more red screen interruption for each coupon, and coupons all scanning correctly. I have no idea how widespread this update is, but Derek has heard others reporting the same, but it is definitely not at all stores. But the memo promises this will all be fixed soon.

The bad news? Derek tested out a Gift Card deal with no fillers at the store that his multiples coupons worked at and he crashed the register. So unfortunately I am not hopeful that Target’s solution to the multiples problem will solve the Gift Card Glitch. But I haven’t given up hope yet. Maybe this update Derek found at his store was a test run of some sort and it was not meant to be the final solution. I really don’t know and it doesn’t look good- but I am still holding on to a sliver of hope that BOTH issues get resolved. It has been, and still is a waiting game, but supposedly we will all find out soon enough. (-Thanks so much to Derek for the info!)

Here’s the Linky folks if you have a blog. and have a clearance find(s) you want to link to or a post of your TARGET shopping trip!

FROM ZERO TO MILLIONS
So when we first saw the preview of the Great Holiday Toy Coupon Book, some were a little concerned as to whether or not they would be able to get their hands on these coupons. I was pretty confident they would show in stores and on-line and in the mail, but several of you were told otherwise in the store and on the phone. But then we all got a chance to at least print if we were worried about getting our hands on one.

And now of course I think we are all on Toy Coupon Book overload! :) There are printables that showed up on line, they showed up in the mail, they showed up in some newspapers Sunday morning and now they are showing up in the store. I got 1 mailed, and 1 in the newspaper, but just in case- I wanted to pick up a couple more on Sunday, so first stop, GS to inquire about the booklets. I was told that they were only going to be mailed. “Are you sure?” I asked, “Because I got one in my newspaper….” She looked confused and I say “Hmmm… are you sure you don’t have any back here?” with a smile. She says “No, I guess they are only being mailed or in the newspaper.” I say Hmmm again and let her know that you actually print them too. Now mind you, she was extremely polite and very friendly, so I’ll give her that, but I just shrugged and said thank you and pushed my cart onward to the toy section where I find a huge display chock full of coupon books. Of course I had to grab a stack, do a 180 and head back to GS with a pile for my new friend. “Here ya go!” I say with another smile. In return I got a bit of a sheepish grin and a sincere apology, but I always wonder about employees at Target and elsewhere who make false statements with such conviction it is almost believable if you didn’t know better.

If I am looking for something specific in a store and ask, I am a much happier camper if an employee let’s me know that they are not really sure. Or if they offer to find out for me as opposed to getting a response like “No, we do not carry that here” and finding it myself 10 minutes later. I am always polite, but for some reason I feel absolutely compelled to go track down whoever told me that, with product tightly grasped in my hand, to let them know they were mistaken. What can I say… I just can’t help myself! 😉

SELF CHECK SCANNERS
If you don’t know or have not noticed yet, the scanners are not prompting for a Gift Card when there is actually one. So unfortunately if you don’t see Gift Card signs for an unadvertised deal you know is going on, this method of checking you are buying the right items is not going to work. You will have to go up to GS and ask them to check it for you at their register to see if it is prompting a Gift Card. I am REALLY hoping this is a temporary thing as I rely on the self check scanners a great deal.

HALLOWEEN CLEARANCE
Halloween clearance was a dud for me this year. While I am pretty sure all stores should be at 90% by today, on Sunday when my store was only at 75% off, there was nothing left except costumes. No candy, or stickers, or cards, or decorations, or any other kind of goody in sight. :( But I was glad to hear that a lot of you made out pretty nicely!

So several of you commented or e-mailed about finding manufacturer’s peelies for $5 Off the Toy Story 3 Space Shooters Game. They were on sale last week for $15 and now back to $17.79, but still only $7.79 with the Target Toy Book Coupon & Peelie stack if you can find them. And today, Erica and Leslie let me know that not only did they find the peelies, but they also found a nice coupon surprise inside the game! Inside the box was another manufacturer’s coupon good for $5 off a $15 purchase of Toy Story 3 games (Space Shooter, Operation Buzz Lightyear, Buckaroo, Memory and Yahtzee Jr). It doesn’t expire until 12/31/2011.

Now from what these ladies say, there are no markers on the outside of the box to indicate further savings inside. If you already purchased a game however and were saving it as a gift, you may be able to very carefully open it since it is not shrink wrapped to see if there is a coupon inside yours too. If there is, the coupon inside has 2 other games listed that you can also stack the Target Coupon with aside from Space Shooter – (Buckaroo & Operation Buzz Lightyear). All 3 toys are regularly priced $17.79, but Leslie found the Operation Buzz Lightyear newly lowered at her store to $15 and paid $5 for it today after a stack with the MQ she found in Space Shooter. Let us know if you found a surprise coupon too!

-Thanks so much to Erica of Just Call Me Cheap and to Leslie!

I found the Kleenex single boxes in assorted varieties on a one week Price Cut that will last thru 11/13. Now this is something I need desperately right now! I am not quite all there- as a little cold that started on Saturday has now turned into an ugly beast! And I am feeling the beginnings of an ear infection. They sort of go hand in hand with me unfortunately. :(  Anyway, enough with the whining, will just keep trudging along as best I can. 😉

Kleenex Single Boxes $1.25 (PC Until 11/13)
-$1/1 Kleenex Multipack OR (3) Singles Target Store Q PRINT x11/13
-.50/3 Kleenex Facial Tissue OR (1) Bundle Pack 11-7-10 SS x1/2/11
-.50/3 Kleenex Facial Tissue, OR (1) Bundle Pack 10-3-10 SS x11/28
= $2.25 for 3 or .75 cents each after a stack wyb 3

Also- Sean & Karen both let me know there is a national catalina deal right now in Grocery Stores on Kleenex, but I don’t think it is active at Target stores. Karen tried at her store with no luck, and all she got was a .75/1 Kleenex Bundle Pack Target coupon out of the catalina machine. But if anyone finds out differently please let me know.

*Note- there are 2 different printable Target Kleenex store coupons up on the site right now- one is for .75 off but only good on multipacks- so look for the one that is $1 Off- it is still available to print as of today if you have not already.
