Here’s what has been spotted on clearance this week along with any coupon matchups I could find. If you are looking for an update on the Target Summer toy clearance you can check out my post hereRemember- clearance can vary greatly from store to store– there is no guarantee you will find the same or for the same discount that those who contributed to this post have. But I try & list specific varieties, prices & other details when I can, since not everything gets stickered and sometimes it’s worth a quick scan to check. Some Target Cartwheel Offers do exclude clearance but it can’t hurt to browse thru to look at those offers too just in case.

Keep sending us those emails and photos of your clearance finds and we will try to include them in our Thursday roundup whenever possible. Contributions are always appreciated!

SHOES:  Emily found an entire endcap full of shoes as much as 70% off for Women’s, Men’s & Kids – including Xhilaration, Mossimo and Merona. She also found lots of dress flipflops in various colors and styles at 70% off down to $5.08!

So after getting quite a few messages & comments from readers about some of their stores dropping to 70% yesterday on toys, it sounded very hopeful that today would be the day and many of you have in fact reported finding 70% Off today at your stores too. Not everyone is going to have all clearance toys in one aisle either. Some stores will mark toys to 70% Off right in the regular aisles, so be sure to take a good look around. At one of Kelley’s stores a large percentage of the toys dropped to 70% but they were all mixed in – in the regular aisles.

I am extremely excited at the luck Kelley had in her LEGO aisle at her store that dropped. I RARELY ever manage to find any sets at 70%, so I was thrilled since she picked up 3 Lego sets at 70% Off for me to tuck  away for Austin for Christmas! She found a Creator set down to $7.48 from $24.99, a Galaxy Squad set down to $17.98 from $59.99 and a Disney Lone Ranger set down to $29.98 from $99.99! I can’t wait until Christmas- since Austin always lets me build with him!

If you still have your $5 Off Monsters Inc Roll A Scare Playset Target Coupon (no longer available to print but valid up until 8/3), you may luck out like Jack did. He found the playset 70% Off down to $5.98 at his Arkansas store and paid just .98 cents after coupon! Jo actually found 70% Off at her Carmel, IN store yesterday and found a Laugh and Learn puppy, Baby Alive, a Leap Frog Guitar and more all at 70%. Erin found select beyblades toys at her Target in NJ 70% off in the regular aisle and even used a Target Cartwheel for an additional 5% off. She paid $9.88 for the above set, regularly $34.99.

I also heard some of you were not so lucky – well at least so far today. Brandy had toy markdowns in her Orlando store today, but the team didn’t finish because computers went down. I got the same message from Theresa G about computers being down. And oddly enough while Kelley had great luck at one of her Maryland stores with no issues and working scanners, she found quite the opposite at her other store. She took this above picture with the clearance toys sitting in their own aisle with nothing marked to 70% as of this morning due to PDAs being down and the system being down, with no working scanners or anything. So unfortunately there are some of you who may also be at a standstill today.

But it’s something for each of you to check in at your own stores to see where you are at. Remember everything may not be together either. Cruise the regular aisles, use the scanners to check prices and be sure and check Target Cartwheel for any additional discounts on anything you may find. And good luck to you all! Let us know what you find and thank you so much everyone for all the comments and email updates!

TOY CLEARANCE: Just a quick update on the toy clearance- looks like stores will be going a little late this year- as there were no reports of any massive drops to 70% Off today. It’s a little odd- but I guess they are just behind schedule. I am guessing only 1 more week so possibly stores will drop on 7/31, 8/1 and a few stragglers on 8/2, but only time will tell for sure. For now- keep a close eye on that toy department!

SUMMER CLEARANCE: Some of you are having great luck with the Summer seasonal clearance now up to 90% Off at many locations. While it will get harder and harder to find any goodies as time goes on, you can take a look at my posts HERE and HERE to see what you may want to check for.

toy-clearance

UPDATE THURSDAY 7/25: So today there were only a very, very few comments of some stores dropping to 70% today. It appears most stores did not drop to 70% though so it’s looking like for the majority of us it will be next week. Reports of 70% came from Seth in Cleveland, Ohio, Sabrina reported 70% in Oswego Illinois, and Rosemary was 70% off at Bolingbrook, IL. (-Thanks for your comments folks!) But let me know if any more of you found the drop at your stores!

I have gotten lots of questions asking about the progress of the Big Summer Toy Clearance, and as usual, I can only speculate. While we have been seeing clearance toys for weeks now anywhere from 30-70% Off, usually around the end of July we see a big drop on lots of toys all at once to 70% Off. So the big question is- will it happen tomorrow? Tomorrow is the last Thursday in July after all and next week would put us at August 1st. But I have to admit I am a little perplexed this year as to whether the drop will actually happen tomorrow or not.

toy-consolidation

Kelley checked in at her store today and saw two aisles starting to be filled strictly with clearance toys and marked with signage of 30% or More. While I always feel like they should sit in their own aisles for a bit and drop to 50 then 70 – sometimes that doesn’t happen. For example, last year my store moved their clearance toys to their own aisles on a Tuesday and 2 days later there was an aisle full of 70% Off toys. So if you’ve been chomping at the bit, you may not want to risk it and show up tomorrow just in case.

Not all stores may have the room to move toys in their own aisles either- so be sure and check all around the toy department and if you have your eye on something particular- you may also want to scan to check just in case. Even if for some reason the toys do not drop until next week, the bottom line is- the toy shelves have to be reset – and all these clearance toys will need to be sold or eventually salvaged – so keep a close eye on them!

hula-hoops-clearance

So many of you have been lucking out with Summer Clearance finds at up to 90% Off and others not so much. But here’s a few other clearance finds that may be “Hidden” or may have mistakenly been put back in the regular aisles along with other like items. While you may or may not have luck- keep in mind these items will not have any clearance stickers- so not obvious clearance to shoppers and it can’t hurt to check if you are stopping in Target anyway…

HULA HOOPS: Thanks to a heads up from Lou- Kelley was able to locate a certain kind of Hula Hoop that you may find mixed in with the other Hula Hoops in the regular aisle. If your store is at 90% Off, these will be as low as .39 cents. These will have the brand name “Squiggles” in Yellow on the Tag and have a wavy design. -Thanks Lou!

room-essentials-hoses-clearance

GARDEN HOSES: Glenda left a comment about finding Green Garden hoses in with the rest of the gardening items for 90% Off at her store. They are the Room Essentials Lightweight 50foot garden hoses. And while Kelley did not find any green ones- the Orange ones were also ringing up on clearance too. If your store is at 90% Off- these will be as low as .99 cents! -Thanks Glenda!

rope-tub

TOY TUBS: Thanks to Jennifer, Kelley found one of these awesome large Rope Toy Tubs in the regular Juvenile Storage aisle next to the other Circo tubs. The Label will just read “Rope Tub” with the little black & white sun and it will have Rope handles. These will be as low as .59 cents if your store is at 90% Off. Kelley only found it in blue- but she’s thrilled since even with grown boys, they are still great for putting athletic equipment in and containing other garage clutter. -Big Thanks to Jennifer of Ramblings of a Suburban Mom who also has a few other finds you may want to check out on her post HERE.

styrofoam-plates

UP & UP STYROFOAM PLATES: Kristin left a comment to give the Up & Up Styrofoam plates a once over in the regular aisles as it seems that you may find 90 ct packages mixed in with the 110 ct packages. They look identical- just the number of plates are different. The 90 count are the ones that will be as low as .32 cents if your store is at 90% Off. Kristin also mentioned watching for The Skip Hop toys in the regular aisle that are packaged in a rectangular cardboard backing instead of a wavy shaped one.  -Thanks Kristin!

clearance-90
Several of you reported finding 90% Off Summer clearance at your stores today. If you are stopping in today you may just want to take a look to see if you have anything left. Keep in mind this section will not get stickered- and signage may also not reflect the full percentage Off, so it is always wise to scan, scan, scan!
target-clearance-summer-90

Kelley also found 90% Off at her store this afternoon and while it was slim pickings, she did find quite a few cake and cookie mixes from Pillsbury- Key Lime Cake Mix, Pink Lemonade & Orangesicle for .16 – .19 cents. You may also want to check your regular aisles for some of these Pillsbury mixes too- you just might luck out.

summer-target-clearance-90-percent

She also surprisingly still had quite a few of the Coppertone bonus packs that I posted about HERE– now at 90% Off at $1.39. She also found the Up & Up 3-Packs of sun Screen also now 90% Off down to $1.39! If you find the Up & Up 3-pack on clearance too- you can use the $1/1 Up & Up Sun Care item Target Coupon to get a 3-pack for as low as .39 cents!

Remember- not all stores follow the same clearance schedule- but with absent stickers, and possibly wrong signage- you will never know unless you scan some items to check! Let us know If you found /find anything good!

-Thanks for the heads up on finding 90% today to Amy, Linda, & Liz!

By now most of you should be at 70% Off on the Summer seasonal section, so if you haven’t checked it out yet- you may want to see what you can find next time you are in. I know many of you have been at 70 for a few days now- but some stores are very slow to drop, like mine. This is what my store looked lik elast night- so it still may be worth a look.
