UPDATE: You can now use the $5/1 Elefun, Gator Golf, Hungry Hippos, Pop Goes Froggio to grab this game for free if you did not get the insert coupon!

Woohoo! Here’s a hot deal starting tomorrow (or maybe even for some of you today if you get your inserts early!) Target has the Hasbro Fun on the Run Hungry Hungry Hippos Game in the Stocking Stuffer section for $4.99. And this is not a tiny travel game either. I would say the actual game is at least about 6 inches across.

Anyway, there will be a couple $5/1 Hasbro Games coupons in tomorrow’s Smart Source insert for some of you and one of them includes Hungry Hippos. I have been able to verify after seeing the coupon (Thanks to my buddy Cammy!) that it does not exclude travel games- so it will be FREE after a coupon! I have no idea if it will beep or not- but it definitely did not list any exclusions.

Hasbro Fun on the Run Hungry Hungry Hippos Travel Game $4.99 (Regular Price)*
*Can be found in the Stocking Stuffer Section at Target
-$5/1 Elefun, Gator Golf, Hungry Hippos or Pop Goes Froggio 12-5-10 SS x12/19
= FREE after coupon!

*While some coupons are regional- remember you do have options if you don’t get it in your paper. Virginia of My Coupon Hunter is going to let me know tomorrow if she will have it in her inventory- or you can always search for coupons on eBay although I do always advise checking a sellers feedback rating before purchasing.

  1. Does anyone have the dcpi for this? I can’t find it in the store and I would like to use my coupons to buy it for my Operation shoebox gifts.

  2. I cant figure out how to print the Coupon..i printed the $5 off U-build Battleship and now it says print limiit reached for the Elfun/Hippo game? help!

  3. Tryed to print hungry hungry hippo coupon ….. told me I already did whish I didnt and sure would like one any idea how I can get one?

  4. I couldn’t find it either 🙁 Our Christmas and toy sections are both pretty small though. Maybe the smaller Target stores don’t have it?

  5. Mary, most couponers purchase many issues of the Sunday paper. Some have even craftier ways of getting Sunday papers and inserts. I get an extra copy from a neighbor and one for my bf’s father. Some people go to coffee shops and places like that and ask if they have any left over on Sunday nights and Monday. Some people work at places that sell newspapers and once it’s time for the unsold papers to be tossed… they take them home instead. I’ve even heard of people driving to local apartment complexes and looking in their “paper only” recycle bins.

You could ask friends of yours and family members if they get the Sunday paper and wouldn’t mind giving you the coupons. Then you can thank them (and reward them for their kindness) by sharing your awesome (and sometimes free) deals with them. As an example since my neighbor helps me out with one paper, I’m going to give her one of my free H.H.Hipps games!! 🙂 Good luck finding, or purchasing, and getting awesome deals!

  6. I used one (don’t know how others are getting so many copies of the coupon) and it worked just fine. I went to the store in Kent.

  7. I’m in North Texas and they are in the SS. Only had one left so I bought it with no beeps. Thank you!!!

  8. I only bought 1 since I didn’t know if it would work. So, I left some for others to also reap from the savings.

  9. man mine didnt have it either. what areas seem to have it?? I was really looking forward to it also. Is there some where else we can get it?

  10. the problem is everytime we have a coupon at Target for more than the cost of the product… they always give us hassles… doesn’t even matter if we pull out the corporate policy… they are such thugs.
