sound-of-musicToday, Sunday December 16th is the last day that Target will be honoring online price matching at Amazon.com, Walmart.com, BestBuy.com, ToysRUs.com or BabiesRUs.com. If you find a lower price online at any of these mentioned retailers, Target will match the price.

One last nice deal you can grab is on The Sound of Music Three-Disc 45th Anniversary Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack which is $24.99 at Target regular price, but you can price match with Amazon who has it priced at $9.99 right now.

Plus there is a $3.00 off The Sound of Music Blu-ray™ + dvd coupon you can use to make this 3-Disc Anniversary Edition just $6.99 after coupon and price match.

You can bring your item & coupon up to GS and either show them the price on your phone, or ask them to look up the price for you. Manufacturer’s coupons CAN be used on a price match, Target coupons cannot. While some of you may be having a hard time doing this- their policy is published online and you can politely ask them to refer to it if you have trouble. The policy can be found HERE.

  1. At my local target I was told that they were no longer doing price matches as well. I had my tablet in hand and tried to price match a game to Amazon, they said they will only price match target.com now! Seems to be a very quiet policy and sneaky policy change.

  2. when i returned to target to get the megablocs at 7pm the guest services rep told me they were NOT doing any other price matches AT ALL for the rest of the day ???? i had been there a few hours before for the sound of music. no reason given said it came from “corporate” – never heard the last day for price match to be moved up to a certain hour have you????

  3. Picked up the last copy and after one target GS person and 2 supervisors… They finally gave me the amazon price. I love this movie! Merry Christmas to me!!

  8. A Target employee told me they didn’t have the movie, but after roaming the aisles I finally found what seemed to be the last copy in the store. Took it to customer service, and though it took awhile, they did price match Amazon and let me use the $3 coupon. So excited! Thanks for letting us know about this!

  9. i’ve used the price match about 7 times already, i’ll be sad to see it go. def. gonna get this deal!

    right now, amazon has a halo megablocks set for 13.50- target sells it for 39.99. do a search on amazon for “halo wraith” and it’ll be the first hit.
