I am a big believer in buying used books instead of new. They are a fraction of the retail cost, and you are recycling. I used to shop the thrift stores for books- but as my son has gotten older and knows what he likes – it is a time saver to be able to easily look for what I want online- especially when I am looking for specific titles!

Thanks for sharing! It took awhile to find just what I was looking for that matched the sale, but I was able to get a great deal on 4 books we’ll need soon for our homeschool. Kelly – you do have to check prices as some aren’t great deals. But, I’ve ordered from them a lot and always manage to save good money!
Thanks for posting! We have a used book store but it is a long drive – and this site does have some great deals and it’s super convenient! Plus I like the Paypal feature too…
I don’t usually nay-say, but, $5.48 for the little Silhouette or Harlequine paperback books? I think at Walmart they are less than $4 new. OUCH! Not sure how their pricing model works, but that is expensive for a used book. Hopefully some of the other genres are more affordable.
