Has anyone try using 5 Cheerios coupons in one transaction? Wondering if it works if I use 3 from inserts and 2 IP. I know we are only allowed to use 4 identical coupons but IP has a different code.
Is anyone else having trouble finding the $1 off multi grain cheerios?
Mandy – I take the “one coupon per guest” as I have my wife and daughter with me, I can use three TQ’s. It doesn’t say 1 per transaction. Thats what I was told is acceptable by a friend who used to be a manager at my local target, and they scan through fine everytime.
Wanted to jump in here and say THANKS to TT for this awesome roundup! Over the weekend, I printed the nice $1.25 coupons (just twice) and a few $1.00 coupons. 5 boxes came out to $1 after all was tallied.
*At the register, a MFG coupon for $1.50/3 General Mills printed.
Went back to Target today as I just found some $2.00 Feline Pine coupons and Target carries this litter far cheaper than PetCo/PetSmart, plus I wanted to try stocking up another 5 boxes while the deal was still on.
The $1.25 coupon is dead and I think a good chunk of the $1.00 are too unless you sign up on different computers (or they’ve simply expired). I managed to find a set of 5 $1.00 coupons for Fiber One 80cal and Multi Grain Cheerios which all worked great. PLUS – the $1.50/3 coupon that printed out on my last trip was accepted (I didn’t think this would stack with other MFG coupons??) so the cereal was FREE!
The best part? It printed out ANOTHER $1.50/3 coupon for me and the cashier gave me a leftover $2/5 coupon he had lying around! I’m tempted to try and find another set of coupons and go back again!
Our stores we have to buy 5 in order to get the GC
Renee, I think that means that you can’t like stack it with another manuf cpn, say Free gallon of milk wyb 3 GM cereals or something like that.. not that you can’t stack it with a store coupon. Maybe Kerry can weigh in??
Kim – my store didn’t have signs up either but the register did prompt the GC when I bought 5 boxes. I scanned them first to make sure they were on sale $2.50. 1 box of cheerios was reg price (peanut butter maybe) so I put that one back on the shelf.
Grrr! Sent the husband out to get this deal and a couple other things…he tried to be creative and didn’t look at signs and got 4 gc qualifying cereals and one Rice Chex! Not only did we not get the $5 gc, it wasn’t on sale for $2.50, it was $3.34! He’s not allowed out with my coupons again!
My target didn’t take the tq with the other 5 mq.
Hey Kim- if it was in your ad- maybe you were just mising signs. Did you ask someone? was it not prompting at the register? Just because no signs doesnt mean it is not programmed into the register. you may want to show managaement your ad if it is not signed or ringing up that way. hth
Okay, so I printed the $1.25/1 PB Toast Crunch coupon. The number under the weird looking bar code on the upper right hand corner checked out as valid on veri-fi. So I think this is a legit coupon. Just wanted to share in case anyone is wondering.
did anyone notice that you cannot use the manufacturer’s coupon with the target coupon??? it states on the printed coupons from coupons.com that they cannot be combined with any other coupon and targets policy states…”•Target accepts one Manufacturer Coupon and one Target Coupon for the same item (unless prohibited by either coupon).” just trying to keep it honest here.
Are the $1.25/1 PB Toast Crunch legitimate? Is there any way of knowing?
Adam – the TQ specifically states ONE coupon per guest. Using three in one transaction is a no-no.
Is this a regional deal? I was so sad to return from Target empty-handed because they did not have this deal. It was in the ad though. Just wondering if anybody didn’t find this deal? I’m in Maryland btw.
I bought 10 boxes of cereal in one transaction and used 3 of the target $1 of 3 coupons to score an awesome deal

HOLY CHEAP DAY AT TARGET, BATMAN! I did the cereal transaction 3 times (15 boxes). Got 4 bottles of ketchup for 0.69 cents each, 4 bottles of Dove shampoo/conditionerfor 0.99 each with a $5 GC deal, 3 bottles of Poise unmentionables cleaner (free plus overage), clearance socks, 5 boxes of toaster strudels, and all for $16 and change with all the GCs. Amazing! And I made a buck for each of the Poise. That doesn’t happen often at Target for me. What fun!
I got a 1.50 off three big G cereals catalina coupon! It is a manufacturers coupons, but I am going to use it on the reese puffs cereal since I don’t have any coupons for those right now!! I am excited to stock up on cereal this week!

Can you buy this cereal in higher quantities at a time and receive multiple gift cards in the same transaction? Or do you have to do it by buying 5 boxes per transaction to get the gift cards?
So I didn’t realize until I got home… but I used 2 of the $1.25 coups, and 3 $.75 coups…. but one of the $1.25 ones were reduced down to $.50…. I have no clue why it happend… but just be careful, and watch the register.

@ Kerry: it is a MQ catalina. @ Cynthia: only multi grain, honey nut and medley, and the yellow box of Cheerios are on sale. None of the flavored varieties are included in the sale.

My family tried the PB Toast Crunch. Its OK, but tastes much better dry and FAB in a “rice krispie bar” type recipe!

Just got home from Target. When I checked out, a $2 catalina when you buy 5 boxes of GM cereal printed out. I used it on my next transaction and then another one printed out. Vicious cycle!
