  1. Just a quick question, I don’t currently have printing capabilities, so you could you tell me if the hungry hippos coupon has size restrictions? I believe there’s a travel Hungry Hippos game at Target for around $5.94…that’s why I’m curious to know if this could possibly be used for that, TIA

  2. If I bought Candy Land last week for $7.99 and got the free card games, can I get a price adjustment this week? I don’t see anything in the policy clearly stating otherwise- the only exclusion I see is if Target or the other store is offering a gift card.

    Thoughts?

Worth a shot, I guess. They already think I’m crazy at my store anyway.

  3. Hey Sarah- I do not see why not. The only reason may be like you said because it was attached to a free card game- but it certainly can’t hurt to try.

  4. Are the Twister Rave Items being price-matched to the ads? My Toys R Us ad only lists them as 30% off and the price rang that they come out to be. I read the price matching policy and it states an ad that only states a percentage off is not included. Am I missing something?

  5. Hey SHaron- I am matching it to th eonline price- Target will match toysrus.com as well. The link takes you straigh to the item on toysrus.com. hth

  6. Was at Target today and Mr. Potato Head was on price cut to $5.04 so only $3.04 if you printed the $2 off Hasbro coupon on coupons.com.

  7. I was able to get a price adjustment on three Twister Rave toys that I got the free card games with. They had no problem doing it but they had trouble with the register because of the playing cards and the Twister Rave toy being lumped together as a package deal on the receipt. They finally just issued me the price adjustment differences citing them as coupons.

  8. I went to price match the Chutes and Ladder game and Candy land today, and had my 10 year old with me, so he could do one transaction for me, and I was told that only adults can use coupons and do price matching. I find this funny because he and my 5 year old has done transactions for me before and never had a issue, but when I bring 2 extra games for donating for my 10 year to do the transaction, he can’t because he’s not an adult……….

  9. I have never priced matched at target and I was wanting to know if you have to have the printed ad or can you pull it up on your phone.

  10. @Tammy- as I said above- yes you can matchto toysrus.com and you can show them the price on your phone- but hey may go ahead and verify on their own device. hth

  11. Never price matched at Target before. Will i be able to price match two of the same games? Our do they have a limit 1?

  12. My cousin works at Target and he tells me they are getting pickier because some shoppers are abusing their price match program…hope they dont cancel it for the few who are doing this….

  13. ^Jessica.. i can’t find the chutes and ladders coupon either! I’m so bummed. I really want to get that and candy land. Anybody know if its nla or maybe have a zip code they found it in?

  14. just thought i would let people know who live in the las vegas area.. if you price match at the target of decatur and meadows.. they will price match your items but will not except your coupons.. because its basically getting it for free the said and that they are making no profit.. I am really upset about this because now I had to pay extra for something i could have gone to toys r us for and got it all the price it was intended for..

but basically these ladies at the store told me that because i bought ELEFUN and price matched it with toys r us to be 12.99 that i couldn’t use my coupon of 5.00 elefun or hungry hippos because its basically like getting it free .. but to me 7.99 is not free.. im so upset. because they couldn’t give me a valid reason why they weren’t excepting my coupons other then.. its like your getting it for free. so im emailing corporate. because i went over budget.. because these ladies were not listening to me.

  15. Hey Elisa- always wise to print & bring the price matching policy with you. it can be found here:
    https://corporate.target.com/about/shopping-experience/our-low-price-promise#q1972
target clearly states they will accept manufacturer’s coupons on a price match
they also get reimbursed for the manufacturer’s coupons
I would suggest asking for a manager next time and if you still have trouble using a manufacturer’s coupon
I would call corporate right from the store and ask them to interpret the policy for the team member who is saying you cannot do. hth

  16. Thank you Kerry, i talked to guest relations about the whole mishap but they told me next time I need to ask for the manager and they need to call from the store. this time they got me. next time i price match i will be giving them a very hard time.. and have all the right paper work printed out. 🙂

  17. just an update sorry for so many comments..
anyways we called the corporate office again and then called the target we went too and we found a manager who was knowledgeable on the policies and she told us all we had to do was come in with a receipt and coupons and they would take it off and give us are money back..

    yes they did .. 🙂
