  2. Is this deal still on? I scanned a mouthwash today and it rang up as 2.99 special purchase. Just wasn’t sure what the “special purchase” was referring to because there were no signs and I thought the deal ended Sat.

  3. Always scan the product! I scored this deal for free tonight at Target because they accepted the coupon on the freebie. No advertised B2G1, but it scanned as a special deal. Thanks for this post!

  5. Is this a regional sale or does it apply to all stores? Could I find it in an ad or is it unadvertised?

  6. yes Judie- it is a ymmv- USUALLY an MQ on a freebie will not be a register issue- it will be a human issue- ie the register usually accepts it without issue but a team member may tell you no. Definitely worth a try- but since it is not defined in policy- it is a ymmv. hth

  7. @ Jodie- The register will accept the manufacturer coupon on a freebie without beeping (at least at my stores the coupon never beeps). I guess it means the manager or cashier could rightfully refuse the use of a coupon on a product made free by a sale. It’s a try at your own risk situation.

  8. How do u know if your store takes a coupon on a freebie? Does it depend on the cashier?
