  1. The registers at my Target DO beep when a coupon is used on a free promo item 🙁

  2. Thanks Kerry! I appreciate you taking the time to answer my question. Love your blog!

  3. Hi Teri- it is usually human intervention when it comes to not allowing a manufacturer’s coupon on a sale freebie. so ie the register usually has no issues- and the Q will scan fine, but a team member may tell you no. since it is not addressed in the Q policy- it is a ymmv, hth! 🙂

  4. Hi Kerry!

Thanks for the deal, I love turkey meat products so I’m planning to go to my Target to get this deal. You said “If your store allows a coupon on an item made FREE by a sale…” Do most Targets allow it? My Target has a lot of inexperienced cashiers so they just scan all coupons. Does it usually prompt a beep or does it usually just go through? Sorry for so many questions, I don’t like to cause problems with coupons so sometimes I will just skip a deal because it’s too much trouble. You can call me a “lazy couponer”! 🙂
