Holiday clearance hit 70% Off in Maryland for Kelley today and 50% Off on Candy and food. I am not sure if just a few stores dropped early or if many of you will find it at 70 today too- but let us know in the comments. If you don’t drop to 70 today, it’s very likely that many of you will go tomorrow- so keep a close eye. Also- be sure and scan if your signs only say 50%- since sometimes stores don’t always get to signage in the beginning of the day, or any time of day for that matter.

What can be found will vary from store to store, but definitely worth taking a good look around for anything you might want to go ahead and stock up on for next year. I know some of you may have hardly anything left and it’s hard to see some of these pictures, but for those of you whose stores had an abundance of leftovers it’s a great time to take advantage of thinking ahead for next year. I am super jealous of all those Dixie plates she has at 70% Off!

All the candy was at 50% for Kelley today- even the good stuff. 🙂 We still have the $1.50/2 M&M’S chocolate candies 9.34-oz. or larger Target Coupon x1/11 and the $2/3 Snickers, Twix, M&Ms, Milky Way, Dove, bites or 3 Musketeers Bags 7-11.5 oz available to print. This will bring the M&M’s down to around .42 cents a bag after coupons & 50% Off.

Kelley found a variety of things at her store marked down 70%, including a wealth of wrapping paper & ribbons, bows, gift bags, stockings, lights, trees, ornaments, stocking hangers, a few tree toppers, holiday-themed socks and other select apparel.

While she found Goldfish and other Holiday snacks in the holiday clearance area, keep in mind that some items will actually get clearanced in the regular aisles too, so take a good look around in each area.

gingerbreadFor example Kelley found these Betty Crocker Gingerbread Cookie Mixes in the regular aisle- no stickers or signs- but they are 50% Off down to .94 cents. We have a –.75 off 2 Betty Crocker (including Cookie Mix) to make them just .67 cents each.

In fact, many items do not get stickered or signed, so be sure to scan, scan, scan.  Also please feel free to comment on this post and tell us what you have been finding so we know what other hidden goodies we should be looking for!  I still have the Christmas Clearance prep list available to reference, but keep in mind some of the more popular grocery/household items listed may be gone and some of the coupons may no longer be available to print.

Also be sure and check the One Spot for Black Triangle- as you should find it at 70% Off.

We also have Target Cartwheel this year- and if you have the app- don’t forget to scan and check to see if you can find any offers as they all do not always exclude clearance.

precision-scissorsFor example- the 3+1 Packs of Scotch tapes are down to .90 cents and there is a 20% Off Scotch Desktop Tape Dispenser Target Cartwheel x12/31 that does not exclude clearance and works on this tape- making it .72 cents for a 4-pk of tape or around .18 cents each. 🙂

There is also a 20% Off Scotch Scissors Target Cartwheel x12/31 & Scotch Scissors will be down to $1.50 if your store is at 70, making them $1.20 after cartwheel.

As far as the next drop to 90% Off, some of you dropped as early as January 3rd last year, but now it may be as early as January 2nd for some of you. I have once again already heard rumors that we will never see it go to 90% Off, but so far I have heard that EVERY year, and it has never rung true.

So I am thinking anything that is left should go to 90% Off sometime between January 2nd & 4th. But keep in mind- nothing is set in stone when it comes to clearance at Target- so keep a close eye, and if you have concerns, check the Christmas Clearance prep list, and try and use your coupons to grab some nice deals at 70% Off. Happy clearance hunting everyone! 🙂

  1. Sand City was 70/30 today but rather picked over. Lots of food, but no lights and scatterings of paper, bags, etc. Marina was much better, also 70/30, with more of everything on the shelves. Got tape though not as cheap as above, wash tape at Marina for .89, Christmas bags for next year and some rolls of paper I can use anytime. P Farms gingerbread and lemon cookies were half-priced. Got those for my husband. The front sections were being cleared out or were already cleared out in both stores. Valentines stuff is taking over. Did get some branches full of white lights to put out on the porch. $8 instead of $29 at Marina.

  2. I checked on the scotch tape in Reno and it was reg. price at 3.49—still a good deal but I passed and managed to find the LAST 2pk roll for $1 in the Christmas section

  3. Cleveland Ohio was 70/50 today!! My store still has aisles and aisles full!!! Finally got my JOY letters for $9!!
