  1. Hi Mae- yes the short term pc was good only until 1/25. This is a whole new sale and special purchase deal and they will be offering the same price of 2/$9. I wish I knew what Target was going to do a lot more in advance than I do- but I do the best I can with the knowledge I have. I’m happy they are continuing the price- sometimes they bump them up on a special deal and the pizzas are regularly $5.49. hth

  2. What is the deal with cartwheel as far as when should they scan it. Two visits ago, my cashier scanned it after target store coupons. This week, it was after ALL coupons – affects the discount amount – not by a ton but I just wanted to know if I should speak up or is it up to the cashiers??

  3. If your Target will allow it, it’s an even better deal to get 6 pizzas. Use 3 of the $1/2 TQ, 2 of the b2g1f, Carwheel, and it’s a cheaper deal, right?

  4. Hi Becky- many stores want you to scan cw last as supposedly it avoids freezing the register. but when cartwheel is scanned does not affect the discount received. whether it is before or after any coupons- the register will always calculate after a TQ and before an MQ. hth

  5. for the cartwheel, if i wanted to buy 6 pizzas do i have to do 2 seperate transactions? since cartwheel only does 4 iteams at a time?

  6. I was trying to do the calculations the best way to run the deal- whether to just buy 3 in 2 transactions, or 6 in one transaction. I think since my store allows you to use multiple Target Qs per transaction, I’d do all 6 at once. This would be my math:

    buy 6 @ $4.50 = 27
    less $3 (3 $1/2 TQ’s)
less $1.60 (CW applying to 4 pizzas)
Less $9 (use two B2G1 Q’s- may take off $12.02?!)
Total: $13.40 for 6 or $2.23/ea (if it takes off face value, it would be $10.38 for 6 or $1.73/ea)

Appears the deal is about equal whether you do it with 3 per trx or 6 per trx, Great deal if it automatically takes off $6.01 face value instead of $4.50, but great either way!

  7. Most targets are typically 2 TQs without issues in a trans. My calcs have the 2 transaction method comes out better at least for me?

  8. I might be confused….but the target coupon says for 14 oz. or larger pizzas and the sale is for 12 oz. pizzas. This stack wouldn’t work right?

  9. The sale is for all 12 inch pizzas. The weight of the pizza will vary depending on which ones you choose.

  10. Dana, with my experience, the cartwheel does not apply to a freebie if it is already discounted to $0. If they were to count it before the coupons it would but, doesn’t really matter right? It’s free! 🙂

  11. The Cartwheel will apply to the free one since it is made free by a manufacturer’s coupon
the cartwheel would not apply to the freebie if it were made free by a target coupon or by a sale.

  12. Just a minor little typo fyi: “$6.75 for 3 Pizzas & a 2-liter bottle of Soda & freebie.” The soda IS the freebie, but I was momentarily confused and thought I would point it out. GREAT site, thanks!

Amy I think this is the correct math:
    buy 6 @ $4.50 = 27
    less $3 (3 $1/2 TQ’s)
less $1.80 (CW applying to 4 pizzas)
Less $9 (use two B2G1 Q’s- may take off $12.02?!)
    Total: $13.20 for 6 or $2.20/ea (+2 FREE sodas)
(if it takes off face value, it would be $10.18 for 6 or $1.70/ea) (+2 FREE sodas)

  13. The CW is for 10%, which is applied after TQ’s, so $27 less 3 is $24. 10% of $4/ea is $0.40, times 4 pizzas is $1.60 off for CW. Right?

  14. So, Wendy and Amy–What would be the price per pizza if it took off 4.50 or $6.00 with the MQ and you bought 6 pizzas. I’m still trying to figure this out!!!

  15. @ Joan, if you buy 6 with the 3 TQ’s and the others listed and it takes off $4.50 with the MQ, the price is $2.23/ea. If you buy 6 and it takes off $6.01 with the MQ, the face value, the price drops to $1.73/ea. I’m pretty certain, at least!
