Clearance Alert – My Little Pony Pinkie Pie’s Purse

pinkie-pie-purse

We got a new Target Cartwheel the other day to save 20% Off the My Little Pony Pinkie Pie’s Purse. Mindy found a great deal on this Target Exclusive since she found it at her store 50% Off down to $9.98 and unlike many toy cartwheels- this one does not exclude clearance, so she picked it up for just $7.99 (regularly $19.98!)

Clearance deals can vary from store to store- but take a look around your stores and even if you haven’t seen as big a drop as Mindy- this cartwheel does not expire until 4/5. I would add this Cartwheel now though if you have interest, as they do occasionally disappear before they expire.

-Thanks for the heads up & the pic to Mindy!

NOT FAMILIAR WITH TARGET CARTWHEEL? This savings program introduced by Target allows you to save even more when shopping in-store. Even better- these offers can be used with Target Coupons AND Manufacturer coupons for up to a triple stack! You can see my post HERE to help get you started.

  1. May want to wait … The cartwheel offer is good through 4/5 and this should go on clearance a little more (drop to at least 70%). Would make it like $4.79 after 70% clearance and 20% cartwheel. 🙂

  2. I saw this on clearance too at my store but its $13.98. I’ll wait a bit until the clearance price drops.

  3. I picked this up tonight, was clearanced to 9.98 and added 20% off cartwheel for final price of 7.98! I’m in Indianapolis 🙂

  4. Yup, was out buying presents for (count ’em, four!) preschool birthday parties coming up. I found these on 70% clearance today and used the CW on top of it. Nice timing!

What are your thoughts on kids presents purchased on clearance? Even though the purse was originally $20, does it matter if I only paid <$5 for it? Just wonder if the parents returned it. We've returned some gifts our kids didn't want and seen some low prices but never think twice about it, but my wife feels weird about it.

  5. Hi Ed, I don’t think there is anything wrong with giving a gift that you got on clearance. If finding a great deal on a quality or popular toy allows you to give something more for less then imo that is a great thing. hth
