Here are some FREE & Discount events going on this weekend. Many may seem to have consistent national participation- but it is always wise to call your local location to be sure they are participating…

batman10-17TOYS R US: Saturday, October 18th from 12 to 2 pm — Bricktober Build. Kids can build and take home their very own LEGO Bat Signal. Event is for kids ages 5 & up, parental supervision required at all times. Event materials available while supplies last. Go HERE for more details.

POTTERY BARN: Kids can enjoy Story Time every Tuesday from 11am – 11:30am, check out program details HERE. Members receive an official Book Club Passport at their first story time, plus a special gift after attending five story times.

GROUPON: Sign up and receive a daily email from Groupon with coupon offers for savings up to 90% in a city near you. Visit the Groupon Site, choose your city and enter your e-mail.  Coming soon! Mark your calendars for October 24th thru 31st — Bass Pro Shops will be hosting FREE Halloween Events including a scavenger hunt, crafts, costume parade, FREE photo, Trick or Treating, and more! Kids 12 & under are invited to dress up and join the Costume Parade, Saturday, October 31st. chuckecheeseCHUCK E CHEESE: Celebrate Chucktober month with Chuck E. Cheese! Visit your local Chuck E. Cheese dressed in your Halloween costume and get 50 free tickets! Plus, when you share a photo of yourself at Chuck E. Cheese in costume to #Chucktober2014, you can enter to win gift cards to Target, Best Buy, and Toys R’ Us or be featured on their website! Go HERE for more details.

It’s a Halloween Dress Rehearsal and you’re invited to come in your favorite Disney costumer and enjoy crafts, games and a costume parade! Must be at least 3 years old to participate, event limited based on store capacity. No lineups prior to 30 minutes before event begins. All event materials, etc. while supplies last. LIVING SOCIAL: Another good resource for great deals and discounts in your local area is Living Social. You can head over HERE to check for deals on all kinds of things including kids’ activities, entertainment, dining out, travel, etc. Just enter your zip code or city and state.

JOANN’S FABRIC & CRAFT STORE: Saturday, October 25th – FREE Make It–Take It Event! Check out your local Joann’s for big fun coming soon! Go HERE and click on Weekly Ads to check your local store’s schedule of events.  Saturday, October 17th – 26th – Check out your local Barnes & Noble store for a special Building & Modeling with Zoob event. Ages 4-7 in select stores. Enter your zip code HERE to find a participating store near you.

LAKESHORE LEARNING CRAFT: Saturday, October 18th from 11 am to 3 pm — Kids can create their own little Bunny Reading Pointer to help them keep their place while reading. michaels-kidsclubMICHAEL’S: Check out Michael’s Kids Club for fun kids’ events! Just $2 per child for 30 minutes of creative craft fun, supplies included.
