Hmmm- ok well hope everything goes smoother this time for you Scott!
Target has put out a new ”$3 off select meat purchase of $15 or more” coupon, it has a picture of a turkey on it.
Everything I bought was from the grocery aisles and it was all tax free. The Nutri-Grain bars, chips, Archer Farm foods, Pop-Tarts, Yogurt, and Keebler Cornbread Crackers. $52.11 and I handed her that before any of the other coupons or the cartwheel. I don’t know if she tried to punch it in as a coupon or if that mattered, but I was curious if anyone else had an issue. I am going back tonight for another pass. I will let you know if I have any problems.
Never mind! Looked it up on target.com!
Can someone explain how you can use the Lipton coupons on the $1.07 tea……isn’t it a “bottled” product? Thanks!
HI Scott – the nutri-grain should be fine. Was there anything else in your order that may not have counted or if there is tax in your state- your total would need to be $50 before tax. The exclusions on the coupon are meant for anything nutritional found near the pharmacy/health area- anything in grocery area should work.
My question is: I went yesterday and tried to buy the Nutri-Grain bars with some other groceries. The Coupon for the gift card did not work even though my total was $52.11. She put it in as a $10 off coupon instead of giving me a gift card and it wasn’t until later that I realized her mistake. Anyway… I was reading the coupon today and it says that it cannot be applied to nutrition shakes and bars and I am wondering if the Nutri-Grain bars are considered in that category and that is why the register wasn’t recognizing it or if it was because she was trying to ring it in as a coupon. Has anyone else experienced difficulty buying the Nutri-Grain bars? I wanted to go back today, but I am not going to make the trip if it won’t work.
Hey Tina- no you are right- There are some available on Campbell’s Kitchen but a $1/5 and a .40/4 – but you will need to buy more soup to use them than I have in the deal idea. Since my brain is taxed right now too – lol – I’m just going to pull that coupon- ty for catching the error. 🙂
Hi Molly – yes you will have to stick to produce then unfortunately.
Hi SHari- threshold coupons can be combined is if you meet the requirements for each- so ie – to use all three you would need to spend $200 – $50 of it being toys, $50 of it being grocery and $100 of it whatever you like. hth & makes sense
I have a question. I have the $10 gift card with $50 toys, $10 gift card with $50 food and the$10 off $100 store wide purchase. Can I combine all three of these?
I went today and got 8 boxes of the Kellogg’s Nutri-Grain Fruit & Oat Harvest Bars, 8 other Kellogg bars, Mission tortillas, Old El Paso taco shell, 2 Barilla pasta and 1 barilla sauce. I used 8 $1 off coupons (4 from coupons.com, 4 from Target.com they’re different so I could use 4 of each), 4 $1/2 Kellogg bars, $1/3 Old El Paso, $1/2 TQ barilla pasta, $.75 TQ of Barilla sauce, $1/2 Barilla pasta sauce and pasta, and I had a coupon for $.75 off barilla veggie pasta. My total was just like $51 used $16.25 in coupons paid $34.98 and got back $30 in gift cards so it was only $4.98 for 16 boxes of bars and some other things!
Thank you Kerry! So, since my Target doesn’t have a deli counter, I would only be able to use it on fresh fruit and veggies?
Ok, maybe my brain is overtaxed, but I have a question about the Thanksgiving scenario. You have on there to buy 2 Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom soups, and then the coupon used below is for 2 Campbell’s Condensed Soups and says it excludes cream of mushroom, so I wasn’t sure if I was confused (which is often the case, LOL!) or what. Thanks SO much for posting these!! I LOVE these deal scenarios! 🙂
HI Molly- if your Target has a Deli counter or area- it is valid on things like fresh deli meat, pre-made or made to order sandwiches, fresh made cole slaw, potato salad etc, whole fresh cooked chickens etc. hth
tx Nacy- i’ll update it as NLA
$3 off $10 Suave Target coupon is GONE!
Does anyone know if the $5 off a $25 purchase of perishables will work towards the market pantry whole turkey? I guess I’m confused as to what “deli” means.
HI B- the 5% was new SUnday- so yes you could use that- but unfortunately to use both threshold coupons your total would now need to be $57. hth
My favorite thing about your blog (other than alerts when there are new T coupons) is the deal scenarios. Thanks for always including some of those!
Fran – My store had the same error. The Title line said 3 but, the verbiage at the bottom stated 4 on approximately half of the signs. When I asked my store, they removed all the signs that had the 3. They said the ad clearly indicates the need to purchase 4, the 3 on the sign had a * behind it for the disclosure and the disclosure states 4. I was hoping they would honor the 3 – it would be a money maker.
At my Target the signage at the Kellogg’s snack aisle said you get the $5 gift card when you buy three even though the ad and register said 4. Since the signage was wrong they went ahead and gave the gift card to me for purchasing three. So check the shelf and see what the signage says when you purchase. I took a picture with my phone so I could show them at customer service.
Ever wish you had two ovens during the holidays? If so, you should buy the Oster oven roaster on the cover of this week’s ad. I bought one years ago and I have gotten a LOT of use out of it. You can roast your turkey in it, and, since the turkey is in a smaller oven, it cooks up really moist. Your big oven is then available for baking all your side dishes or desserts. I also use this roaster to bake things on my screened-in front porch during the summer so I don’t heat up the house by using the oven. It has probably saved me well more than its $27 price in air conditioning costs alone.
Hello I may be mistaken but can you also use a 1.50 target coupon off 7 dollar archer farms purchase and also the 5% cartwheel off archer farms pods as well with Kerri’s second K-cup coffee, nutrigrain bar and tea deal, using the 10 dollar off 50 dollar purchase? If someone could clarify that would be great as I wasn’t sure why those were not included when she broke the deal down. It only includes the starbucks nutrigrain and lipton coupon even though she uses 2 packs of archer farms coffee in scenario.
I decided to use the mobile coupon for buy two Betty Crocker cookies or frosting get one free. Oddly enough, it took off all three cookie instead of just one. I added up my prices and checked it with the total of the receipt, and sure as sugar – three free cookie mixes. I’m sure this is a mistake and will be fixed soon though.
My store does not care about the limit stated in the coupon. They accept up to 4 like coupons.
I have a question. Can I use 4 $1/1 kelloggs nutrigrain found on coupons.com and 4 $1/1 kelloggs nutrigrain found on kelloggsreward.com? They look the same but the barcode is different. Thank you.
There’s a problem with your scenario, Christ’s. The $3/2 Lipton coupon is limit 2 per transaction. So if you buy 6 you would have to use 2 $1/1 instead. Then I suppose it would be a $3.55 mm.
I know there’s going to be a bunch of different scenarios on how to use the grocery coupon tomorrow. Here’s one that I’ve worked up so far that hopefully some of you will get some use from:
