take your items and the tag off the shelf to customer service and they will ring them up and give u your gift card the lady at my target thinks the problem has to do with the upc on the buy 2 get 1 free boxes
Signs were posted on the shelf for me today but the register did not prompt for the gift card. The front end manager reluctantly manually entered the free $5 gift card but did not go check the shelf tags.
I tried it again today at a different Target, and the GC is still not popping up. I bought 4 boxes, and they manually took off $10.
BTW, there’s a back pain version Thermacare. It’s usually a 2 pack, but I found one that gives an extra wrap so it’s a 3 count.
I got these coupons in my insert Sunday and I want to get some of these as I’ve been having neck pain lately due to this cold I’m fighting off. anyway, I haven’t been to Target to look over this deal yet but from the sounds of it, it may not work out.

The gift card didn’t come up at the register for me either. (I found the 3ct bonus pack and thought maybe that one wasn’t loaded into their system) She told me I’d have to go to Customer Service. I took a picture on my phone to show customer service…and she didn’t even look at it. She just immediately gave me the gift card when I told her it didn’t come up at the register. Maybe she had it happen already?
Had the same issue as everyone else doing this deal. When I went to customer service after having an issue with this and the kelloggs deal she told me that the signage was old so I went back and it definitely says January 4-18th.
The GC didn’t come up for me either. They had to manually enter in the GC and a $5 target coupon. Seems like this is a nationwide glitch. It’s annoying because I was hoping to load up on this product.
Is the $5 coupon nla? I see the $2 off but can’t seem to find the $5 Off…
I still think she is mistaken as I did two other deals later this evening that said the same thing.
I noticed at my store a lot of the gift card offers have an asterisk beside the number to buy. At the bottom it says you have to buy as signed, meaning you have to buy them at that price. I tried the Thermacare deal and the $5 giftcard didn’t prompt and I asked the Assistant Manager since I know her and was informed they are changing how these deals are structured. This will make it harder to get a big moneymaker deal.
I grabbed four boxes and some other things. The signs were up when I got them. Went to checkout 20 mins later and they were notscanning for the gc deal and the signs were down. Never had this happen before but I am not happy.
Where are you finding the $5 coupon? I’m only seeing a $2 off 1 coupon.
I can’t get the Red Plum coupons to print.
