FREE & Discount Activities for Kids and Families

Here are some FREE & Discount events going on this weekend. Many may seem to have consistent national participation- but it is always wise to call your local location to be sure they are participating.   

BOA-LogoBANK OF AMERICA: If you have a Bank of America Debit Card- then check out the list of qualifying museums that you have FREE admission to the first weekend of every month! To find out more about the Museums on Us Program and to view a list of participating museums in your area, you can go HERE.

LOWE’S BUILD & GROW: Saturday, February 14th at 10 am –  Kids can build a Sweetheart Picture Holder. All Build & Grow Clinics give kids a chance to build a wooden project and receive a free apron, goggles, patch, and more! You can go HERE for more details and to set up a Lowe’s Build and Grow account.

LIVING SOCIAL: Another good resource for great deals and discounts in your local area is Living Social. You can head over HERE to check for deals on all kinds of things including kids’ activities, entertainment, dining out, travel, etc. Just enter your zip code or city and state.

TOYS R US:
 Check out your local ToysRUs this Saturday, February 7th from 12 pm – 2 pm for a Spongetastic Event to celebrate the release of The SpongeBob Movie Sponge Out Of Water in theaters today, February 6th. Kids can build their own Mega Bloks SpongeBob SquarePants Jellyfish Launcher and take it home, along with a FREE Mega Bloks SpongeBob SquarePants figure. lakeshore2-5LAKESHORE LEARNING CRAFT: Saturday, February 7th from 11 am to 3 pm — Kids can create their own coupon pocket filled with coupons redeemable for something special!  Join the fun every Saturday with FREE crafts for kids at all locations. GROUPON: Sign up and receive a daily email from Groupon with coupon offers for savings up to 90% in a city near you. Visit the Groupon Site, choose your city and enter your e-mail. BARNES & NOBLE:
 Join the Kids’ Club and get fun, free, rewards & special offers! Benefits include a FREE Cupcake from the cafe on your birthday. Go HERE for more details.

POTTERY BARN: Check out their Valentine’s Day Card Making Station now thru February 14th where kids can make their own Valentine’s Day card. Pottery Barn is partnering with Bright Horizons Foundation for Children to host this event. Kids are invited to also make a Valentine to give away to a child in need. For more details, go HERE.

Kids can also enjoy Story Time every Tuesday from 11am to 11:30am – check out program details HERE. Members receive an official Book Club Passport at their first story time, plus a special gift after attending five story times.

    I like Legos and Spongebob!
    I actually have the Lego Krusty Krab diner. My kids are teenagers now but we still like building with Legos.
