Here are some FREE & Discount events going on this weekend. Many may seem to have consistent national participation- but it is always wise to call your local location to be sure they are participating.
MICHAEL’S KIDS CLUB: Saturday, October 24th from 10 am to 12 noon, kids can make their own Pet Spider! Then, on October 31st, kids are invited to stop by Michael’s for a special Halloween Event! For $2, kids can make a trick-or-treat bag (supplies included). Plus, there will be FREE Face Painting and be sure to wear your Halloween Costume and participate in the hourly costume parades. A parent or guardian must remain on premises, offer valid while supplies last. See site for more details.
POTTERY BARN: Kids can enjoy Story Time, every Tuesday from 11am – 11:30am– check out program details HERE. Members receive an official Book Club Passport at their first story time, plus a special gift after attending five sessions. Watch for special story time events as well!

KRISPY KREME: Be sure and stop by your local Krispy Kreme on October 31st wearing your costume and you’ll get a FREE Doughnut! Offer valid all day while supplies last. Go HERE to find a location near you.
LAKESHORE LEARNING CRAFT: Saturday, October 24th from 11 am to 3 pm — Kids can make their own Spooktacular Puppet! Join the fun every Saturday with FREE crafts for kids at all locations. IHOP: Mark your calendars for October 30th, when all kids 12 & under can get a FREE Scary Face Pancake between 7 am and 10 pm at participating locations. Limit one per child on 10/30, dine in only. BARNES & NOBLE: Saturday, October 24th at 11 am — Join your local Barnes & Noble store for Storytime and Activities featuring, Click, Clack Boo! Go HERE and enter your zip code to check your local Barnes & Noble store for participation and other events.
LEGO BUILD SIGNUP: The next LEGO Monthly Mini Model Build will be held on November 3rd & 4th. Be sure and register asap if you wish to attend. Stores will no longer accept walk ups on the night of the event. You can go HERE To register.
CHIPOTLE: Head over to Chipotle’s on Halloween, in costume from 5 pm to close, and you can get a $3 burrito. Go HERE to find a participating location near you.
LIVING SOCIAL: Another good resource for great deals and discounts in your local area is Living Social. You can head over HERE to check for deals on all kinds of things including kids’ activities, entertainment, dining out, travel, etc. Just enter your zip code or city and state.
NATIONAL PARKS – JUNIOR RANGER PROGRAM: The National Park Service Junior Ranger program takes place in almost all parks and is appropriate for kids, ages 5 to 13, but people of all ages can participate. Junior Rangers are given a series of activities to complete during a park visit, share their answers with a park ranger, and receive an official Junior Ranger patch and certificate.
