Thanks Suzee for the heads up. Hopefully my Target cashier will apply it. Maybe they are coded as candy or seasonal rather than baking. Could be why the coupon won’t go through?
sorry to hear the TQ not automatically going thru- but yes – I would think any rational team member would accept something called “baking chips” right on the package as a qualifier for a “baking” coupon.
I do a lot of baking, and these are most definitely a baking item. and were on an endcap in my baking aisle. While the TQ did not go thru – the cashier was happy to apply it since they are clearly a baking item! Such a nice deal 🙂
Has anyone had luck using the baking coupon with the Bits in store? I need a bag for a dessert I’m making. When I looked at Target.com it is not included with the $3 offer (as comparison, the $3 offer shows for Nestle Toll House & Hershey’s morsels). I added 4 bags to my cart for store p/c and it says the promo cannot be applied b/c my cart doesn’t meet the requirements.
HI Mary- I would have asked for a manager- the package says “baking” bits right on it. Also found with baking stuff and even in holiday section it is with baking items.
I tried to buy 4 bags of the baking bits, but Target cash register said that is considered candy and would not let me use the $3 baking coupon. Hope others have better luck!
Hi Jess- yes mine were in holiday section- but you may have some in your baking aisle with your other chips- I would check both places. hth!
Check On end caps near the baking aisle or in the xmas section with the seasonal cookies and candies.
Hi Kerry,
Where did you find the baking bits in your store? I didn’t see them in mine. Thanks!
