Here are some FREE & Discount events going on this weekend. Many may seem to have consistent national participation- but it is always wise to call your local location to be sure they are participating.
BASS PRO SHOPS: Check out Santa’s Wonderland events at Bass Pro Shops, going on now thru December 24th, including a FREE photo with Santa and a FREE personalized digital Christmas card! MICHAEL’S KIDS CLUB: Check out Michael’s store events for fun craft activities. Kids can make and take home a completed project– cost varies by project and includes supplies (usually in $2 – $7 range). Recommended for ages 3 and up. There are new activities scheduled for January. The first one will be Saturday, January 9th – kids can make their own sparkling snowflakes, cost of supplies will be $2. HOME DEPOT: Mark your calendars for the next Kids Workshop at Home Depot. January Kids will build their own Kung Fu Panda 3 Spinning Box toy and decorate it with stickers featuring characters from the upcoming Dreamworks movie, Kung Fu Panda 3! DISNEY STORE: Now thru Thursday, December 24th, the Disney Store will be hosting a kiss goodnight and new holiday family tradition called “Holiday Wishes”. Event will take place Monday thru Saturday at 7:30pm and Sundays at 5 pm. For more details, check with your local Disney Store.
BARNES & NOBLE: Saturday, December 19th at 11 am — Check your local Barnes & Noble store for participation and other events. TARGET REDCARD HOLDERS: Check out your local Target store for a FREE beverage for all Target REDCard holders, now thru December 24th! If you have a REDcard, you can get a FREE 16 oz JambaGo smoothie, free small ICEE or soda at the Target Cafe. Limit one free drink per trip during the promo period. Each day they feature something cool to do in your city at an unbeatable price. LAKESHORE LEARNING CRAFT: Saturday, December 19th from 11 am to 3 pm —Kids can make their own fun card holders to display their holiday cards from family and friends! NATIONAL PARKS – JUNIOR RANGER PROGRAM: The National Park Service Junior Ranger program takes place in almost all parks and is appropriate for kids, ages 5 to 13, but people of all ages can participate. Junior Rangers are given a series of activities to complete during a park visit, share their answers with a park ranger, and receive an official Junior Ranger patch and certificate.
